The Four Seasons were so great that their record company let them break the "two minute" rule, which most artists were held to for the length of their records...when you're great you can get more time.
Is "Jersey Boys" still playing? If so, I gotta see it because I just wanna make a parody called "Jersey Shore Boys" which combines "Jersey Shore" and "Jersey Boys" and it features Frankie Valli and he sings in every sketch.
This is my ultimate "Good Time" song of the 60's! Everything about it said have fun! Enjoy your youth! Frankie Vallie had THE best falsetto of the era!
I just love listening to these guys! Frankie Valli's voice is just unreal and their music can brighten up your worst days. This is one of my favorites from them and if you haven't seen Jersey Boys, you are missing out! Great show filled with all of their best hits and it's the next best thing to seeing them live! I know Frankie still tours though and I'd love to go see him some day if I got the chance!!
Its been a long time since i have heared this song. I was probably 12 in the back seat of my dads 65 Nova on the way to my grandmas house. And no it was in the 90s, not 60s. Rock n Roll is dead but not at my house.
The Four Seasons and Rascals would have been even bugger had the Beatles not 'invaded' America. The Four Seasons ROCK! By the way.. go see 'Jersey Boys' the live musical.. it is great and does the band justice!
@USSEnterpriseNCC1706 I second this for both reasons! I don't hate the Beatles or anything but I get tired of listening to them sometimes cause their music isn't the most exciting. I don't feel they put a ton of energy into their music with the exception of a few songs. I saw Paul McCartney live in 2010 and trust me, he is fantastic! He and his band put 10 times the energy into that music than the Beatles ever did. But I never tire of listening to these guys and Jersey Boys was a great show!!
this song show how terrible music is today. i honestly can say i dont connect with songs that are about sex, drugs, and partying. this is music to my ears
I like to listen to real music. You know, when the groups were real and played because they loved it and not because of the fame that came with it. I don't even listen to todays music.
@Yukisgirl76 I think that they basically had to play for the fun of it because if the studio heads weren't raping them for their money their managers were taking the rest.
we need 720p!

The play, "Jersey Boys" is awesome. I am from Nutley, NJ. Some of the originals in the band were from Belleville/north Newark, NJ.
