  • I thought Michael was going to cave.

  • anyone know the name of the song starting at 5:09 ??

  • Can someone explain why they did that U-turn on the bridge b4 they headed to this restaurant? Were they tryin to lose hooeva was tailing them?

  • The two people that didn’t like this are Sollozzo and McCluskey.

  • Two very big movie mistakes in this scene.

Captain McCluskey is already eating dinner when he didn't even order the food.

And second mistake is Michael shoots McCluskey in the neck and you see the bullet hole on his head while he is holding his wounded neck.

    LOL. Big movie mistakes.

I still love this movie, my Favorite movie Ever!

  • @gfscarface13 he obviously fired two shots at McCluskey, first to the throat and second to the head

  • @ColdstreamGds

Cant you see the blood on McCluskey's forehead when Michael shot him through the neck?

Michael shoots him through the neck and and there is blood on the forehead.

    Watch it again.

  • @gfscarface13 Are you trolling or just an idiot? The waiter brings in an appetizer; notice he places it in the center of the table. The veal doesn't show up until 1:39. Even though McCluskey doesnt ask for it explicitly, he agrees to give it a try after Sollozzo recommends it. Also, Michael shoots him twice, first in the neck, and then in the head. He is holding his neck b/c there is a wound there and there is blood on his head b/c there is another wound there. Check your facts you dipshit

  • @gfscarface13 Because he shot McCluskey twice, first at the neck than the head.

  • Mandrake, do you know what Clemenceau once said about veal?

  • One of the greatest scenes ever. It doesn't matter how many times i watch it, i still feel the intensity everytime. The train rolling by in the background, the anticipation of the actual hit...man this is just immense.

  • Fucking luv this movie

  • This is easily my favorite scene of the movie, its also one of the best directed sequences in film history.

  • Sollozzo and McCluskey disliked this

  • There is a newspaper montage shortly after this scene and a piano player playing something awesome while the newspapers fly into the screen. What is the name of the piece he is playing?

  • Are the actors using Sicillian dialect or standard Italian??

  • @johnnycheck99 They're using Sicilian dialect

  • Thank you for the translation.

    WHY DROP THE GUN?

    No fingerprinting back then?

Should have kept it and properly disposed of it.

  • @robertgift gun was taped so yeah no fingerprints:P

  • @muniez92 Thank you.

I cannot see that it is taped.

  • @robertgift If you have not seen the movie, Before Michael is going to this restaurant he is being told what to do by Clemenza, Clemenza says this ''You got out, shoot them in the head, then you drop the gun, walk out but dont make eye contact with anybody.''

  • @MrGnomesftw Thank you.

Yes, I heard that. Just do not understand why.

I'd keep the gun, disassemble it and discard pieces someherelse. Not leave it for police to find.

  • @robertgift I dont really get it either, id keep it aswell, even if its taped.

  • @MrGnomesftw My friend found a nice gun in a stairwell of the subsidized apartment building where he lives. Lots of Blacks, lots of Black bastard children playing in the halls. He called police and they picked up the gun. I would have kept it and tried to find if it had been stolen or used in any crimes. If not, MINE!

  • @robertgift Aye, should have kept it.

  • head shot

  • the turmoil in Al Pacino's face from 4.21 TO 4.49 ....amazing acting

  • @nascot10 my favorite part too. its an amazing sequence, its the turmoil of him separating himself from humanity. the voice of solotzo slowly muffles away as what he is saying is meaningless.

  • dear god the intensity. did anyone else find themselves fidgeting a lot when they first saw this?

  • For some reason, the Paramount board wanted to fire Al Pacino (while Francis Ford Coppola was halfway making the movie) after they saw this scene. I don't understand why, I thought this is one of the best scenes in the movie

  • Very sneaky. Nice kill.

  • McCluskey. At least he get his last veal..

  • Saggio fanciullo a chi conosce ils uo vero padre..

  • Sollozo McClusky.Alla vostra salute !

  • McClusky.What's that ? an Irish ?

  • Funny that I was playing the game, I saw me eating soup during the attemp of killing sollozo and

    MCcluskey.

  • This is the only scene i remember from any of these movies

  • I'd like the text in italian, to practice... does anyone have it?

  • great scene, horrible sound.

  • Pacino had shot a few scenes prior to this, but Paramount still resisted using him, because he wasn't a big name. This is the scene that finally won him the part

  • my favourite scene. SO INTENSE!

  • the translations are not right!! come cazz hai tradotto quel testo hai sbagliato di grosso tutto madonna per sbattere queste cose e meglio di non mettere nulla..

  • @Brunetto46 you speak italian? How in italian it would be- i told you i will handle it- i will handle it. My spanish friend told me it would be something like Si te dicesi che penso io- penso io.

  • @TheBBoyPain si go check your account to see

  • Who are you more afraid of? Micheal Corleone or Tony Montana... It would be Micheal Corleone because when you gave a gangster that looks at you with no facial expression? And guns you down like that?

  • sollozzo and mcclusky dislike this

  • McClusky gets his bullet and still nom nom nom

  • 4:50 FUCK YOU!

  • I wouldn't mind a sip of that wine.

  • You got 2 go, you got 2 go

  • This is the 2nd angle of the Sopranos ending

  • This dude was alive mad long after getting shot lol

  • Most intense scene ever

  • Michelozoo!:)

  • @4:54 when the greedy McClusky got shot and held his neck , i always assumed he wanted to say 'Wait...don't shoot me yet...at least wait till I finish my last bite...' LOL

  • @H770907 Jane Austen's Mafia does do that!! -- SO FREAKIN FUNNY!!!!

  • How come they call Solozzo The Turk?

  • @leafyutube according to the novel,He had a nose like a turkish skimiter,he was married to a turk lady and has the poppys in italy and turkey also.

  • The only death in the Godfather sage where an Orange isn't present.

  • questo è da Vito Corleone!

  • @ParlerLaze Hahahahaaaaa

  • He wasn't very smooth with it.

  • La mejor escena de la trilogía para mi gusto, la cara de Michael al momento de matarlos es genial, te transmite todo.

  • "The Turk" disliked this video

  • comu si rici?....

  • thanks for posting this - one of the most amazing and intense scenes in cinematic history.

  • GOOD

  • Where did you get the translattion

  • @BIGGESTGUN42 I think that's from the book man, I just finished reading this chapter today and it's the same

  • @felipecastellanos Good book right.

  • @BIGGESTGUN42 Indeed man, Great book, I skipped the whole Jimmy Fontane chapter though, it's kind of boring reading about that cunt, lol

  • @BIGGESTGUN42 felipecastellanos is right. it is translated from polish version.

  • @muniez92 What do you mean?

  • One person didn't find a gun in the bathroom.

  • @PLERPTV

He came out with just his dick in his hands.

  • This scene was so unexplainably tense in the film. We knew michaels plans and because at this stage he seemed to be the lesser confident of the family, my heart was pounding and I was actualy imagining having too keep my cool like this leading up to the kill.

  • @TheyCallM3 ... except remember, he had just come back from WWII. He may have seen some action there.

  • @joelSanFrancisco He saw alot of action, it says in the second book.

  • Sollozzo and McCulskey sleep with the fishes

  • Coppola decided to keep Al Pacino as Michael, after filming this sceen...

  • @LysBlanco It was actually the studio, Coppola always loved Pacino.

  • Al Pacino is such a perfect actor!

  • thats all they say in italian?

  • what the hell do they say

  • @malcolmscotty1 now you have translation in the description

  • @malcolmscotty1 check out new version

  • que groso.....les re cabe... XD
