So now instead of wanting to avenge his clan by getting revenge against Itachi, now his feelings are flipped and he wants revenge for Itachi and his terrible ordeal. As for Sakura, she's pretty badass in Shippuden, but so far really hasnt done anything in the way of fighting except for the Sasori arc around ep 20 or so

You've got remember Sakura came from a normal family, with no particular drive, unlike Sasuke who was pushed to his limits to beat Itachi, and Naruto, who was shunned by everyone into believing strength was a way to gain respect. Sakura's puppy crush was compounded by Sasuke's abandonment of the village, and he behavior towards Naruto was very much typical middle-school-age teasing. (Pre-teens are mean!)

@MegaKazz5005 Personally I find all three main characters annoying in their own right. But I find it makes them more likable if that makes sense... Sasuke is a doucher, but he's also got his good sides. Sakura starts off as a spoiled brat, but grows as a person. Naruto... well he's Naruto. Annoying as hell, but his growth is the most fun to watch.

This show isn't for everybody though.

@MegaKazz5005 Yeah, that's what I did, and to be honest I didn't like it at first. I give a new show an eight episode limit to get itself established, and I found it annoying for about 6 episodes. But each character in Naruto is created with a lot of love from the creator. Each character develops in a big way. That what makes this show so compelling. (or not, sometimes you don't care. lol)
