  • beautiful that;s all

  • Grungey Alt Rock>Whatever they're doing now.

  • This album lifts my spirits more than all there others . Who is the music critic here? Do you know what matters? Your opinion is worthless. By the way, I love the joy division influence on guitar with the slightly less disturbing lyrics. Although I love the Joy division lyrics, they are killer...

  • Ahhhh its good people.. Just admit it..

  • Pablo Honey may not be musically superior to others, but you can't deny the anger, alienination and raw feel to it. Which I love.

  • You can do it! Yes YOU CAN!

  • I think a lot of Radiohead fans are wary of Pablo Honey because they expect it to be like all the other Grunge albums from the time period. For me this is an extremely emotionally driven (especially by the guitar), angst ridden, unique album, that is some of the best alt rock I've listened to.

  • @420Guitar420 Finally! Someone who understands Pablo Honey as i do. For me, the best Radiohead was the extremely emotionally driven , angst ridden, unique band of PH and The Bends and the sci-fi/dystopian/postapocalyptic/alien-like Radiohead from OK Computer and Kid A. Since then, they are just making weird music and not bery relatable songs.

  • @420Guitar420 lol, i ment very.

  • @420Guitar420 hahahaha * meant. My keyboard isn't working very well.

  • its my least fav radiohead album, but it dont mean i hate it, its just all the other albums are more structured, and im a big time radiohead fan

  • This is my favorite song by Radiohead, and I am a MAJOR fan. I think this album is grossly under-rated. I think it is their best work honestly. This, The Bends, and Ok Computer are their best albums.

  • I agree! I think it's underrated due to the growing hipsterdomism...

  • @girkygirl It's underrated because they have a crap-load of albums that are lightyears ahead of this one. Not because of "hipsterdomism"... whatever that even means.

  • <3

  • UFFF!!! I LOVE THE GUITAR... I'M GOING TO SKY WHEN I LISTEN IT...

..ME ENCANTA ESTA CANCION!!! LA GUITARRA ES EXCELENTE

  • guitar player has more in common with the edge than the two "jimmy's" but cool take on this dude's originality

  • a woman inspired Thom to write this amazing album... Pablo Honey </3

  • Not since Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page has a guitarist put so much emotion in to a guitar.

  • I love Pablo Honey.

  • Pablo Honey - Batting just above the average band

The Bends - Starting to get distance from other bands

OK Computer - Annihilating other bands

    Kid A - A Different World

Amnesiac - Further exploration of that world

Hail To The Theif - A slight return home

In Rainbows - A journey inbetween the worlds and realities.

  • @lufc550 i would agree but still underrating Pablo Honey

  • @lufc550 That's a pretty fair assessment.

  • @lufc550 very good assessment there.

  • @lufc550 and king of the limbs is question between hell and heaven

    ;D

  • @lufc550 lotus flower a quick fix album made on a plane trip from america to england

  • @lloydvallentine2 It's called the king of limbs, and i like it, shows off their electronic sound and you'd never believe in a million years they're the same band that did this song and creep!

  • I don't care what people think song is the nuts and love radiohead big time x

  • 2:55 - 4:00 sounds very pixies lol

    oh, and RADIOHEAD FUCKIN RULE!!!!

  • amaaazing lyrics and voice.

  • Racist.

  • Thom needs to be turned up!

  • Pablo Honey is one of the bests albums of Radiohead

    1.Ok Computer

    2.The Bends-Pablo Honey

    3.Hail to the tief-In Rainbows

    4.Kid A-Amnesiac

  • Pablo Honey and The Bends ARE the best Radiohead EVER!=

  • @ricklene i agree.

  • This song is awesome!

  • Pablo honey was thier first, so they did not have the equipment or the money to make some of the sounds we hear in later albums.

  • @Unspokensarcasm they didnt have enought experience too....but this song is really pretty! after the solo bass at 3:05 the song turns into something incredible with that extraterrestrial riff!!

  • The last part of the song is da best!!

  • Never understood the critiques of this album. It's so pure. Although I think in rainbows was genious, it would be great to hear them do stuff like this again.

  • I think this is my fav from pablo.

  • Kid A, Ok Computer, and Hail to the Thief are the best.

  • This is me two nights ago. My shyness blurred all my chances. And of course, she gave up on me.

  • @blinderchains i keep reading ur statement. it sounds very poetic even if it may be true

  • almost all pablo honey songs have an epic ending :D

  • Hail to the thief

    The bends

    Amnesiac

    In rainbows

    Ok computer

    Kid A

    Pablo Honey

  • Hail to the thief ROCKS DUDE :D

Myxomatosis and where i end and you begin!

Just the darkest underrated awesome album

  • This is Radiohead's best album imo. Rockier than the rest of their albums.

  • Even if its a bit of a "Pop" record, Pablo Honey has some damn good material on it. One of the earliest records of this particular "sound" I would say even. If I heard it for the first time without knowing about Radiohead, I definitely wouldn't have guessed it to have been released back in '93. It sounds like it could've come out within the last few years even. In that way, Pablo Honey has really stood the test of time so far; If not better than some of Radiohead's other albums.

  • Pablo Honey sounds like straight up Alternative Blues Rock to me. If you consider it Pop then I hope to god more pop bands put out albums like this in the 2010s. Holy shit....we're a day away from 2010.....

  • Oh, and by the way, the intro to this song... wow!

  • I absolutely love Radiohead.... they are the best band after Nirvana, hands down. Even their older, pop stuff has their own special blend of awesome...

  • I CANT

  • you dont realise how good this song is until u havent heard it for a few years, it sounds like when i first played it. SHIT HOT!!!!

  • i realli like where there music has gone

  • well this is just perfect isnt it.

  • This album as a whole sounds too pop-oriented, commercialized and mainstream. "Pablo Honey" is indeed the only piece of work of Radiohead's that I dislike; there are however a few tracks off the album that I like such as (of course) "Creep", "Stop Whispering", "Anyone Can Play Guitar", "You" and "Blow Out".

  • I think that PH was Radiohead trying to prove to their new record company (who at first really didn't want to pick them up) that they could make hits and get on the charts and sell. Of course, really, their only super success was the overplayed Creep.. but I think they were just younger and didn't know better.

After realising though, ex. My Iron Lung, they gradually found what suited them better and matured from their 3min, trying-to-be-popular, poppy rock songs, into their own, amazing thing.

  • i despise creep

  • @m0rningbell

    Ditto.

  • @m0rningbell Why? LOL

  • Great song!! Its really grows on you , I love the ending!!

  • Ya man I dunno i can literally feel the end its really amazing.

  • Please forget the words that I just blurted out...

  • fav pablo honey song =)

  • fantastic

  • jonny greenwood kills at the end of this song. its the best bit of a stellar album it still gives me shivers

  • oh yeah, and m-f***ing "You"

    and "Prove yourself"

  • WRONG?

    thinking about you,

    vegetable,

    i cant

    plus the ones you mentioned

  • I already said "I can't" but yes I forgot "prove yourself".

  • You think the album is terrible and yet, you like 5 songs from the album?

  • As long as it is Radiohead.. then it should be fantastic =D

  • I agree everybody evolves

  • It's about resources.....and time. They got both with this album.

  • Thank you Thom for realizing that you were on the verge on becoming the next oasis or other 'four chords band'.

  • Do you know what's ironic about your comment? Arguably the best song off arguably their best album (and my fav song) consists of four chords: Let Down. So maybe it's more to do with changing their style more than completely changing how they go about structuring songs.

  • I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying that their change of style was the best thing they could have done to be so unique and so good.

  • Comment removed

  • till now im a fan of these very phenomenal band...

  • i love this song. it was a single?

  • no, stop whispering, anyone can play guitar and creep where the singles.

  • Yep.

Actually, i dont think they even ever played this song live

  • Thanks from that mediaconverter link too. It's really useful

  • by far the greatest band of our time

  • songs*

  • yea all radiohead and muse songs rocks and this seems to be the perfect plz don't break up with me song

  • this song really reminds me of something you'd hear on the bends album

  • one of their best song ever,

  • i would kill/die to see johnny play the end of this song

  • If you give up on me now,

Ill be gutted like Ive never been before

  • mi preferido de pablo honey!

    :D

so many words that I, that I can never find...

    oh radiohead xDDD

    es rock alternativo :P

  • there's s lot of great songs on pablo honey.. almost all of them... "thinking about you" is probably my favorite.

  • Pablo Honey best song

    Max from Italy

  • this songs awesome, i loved the bends in the day, and then ok comp came out and like that was um um, but then my bud let me borrow this, told me not to listen to creep coz it was trendy, but this and ne1 can play guitar (which i honestly beleived until recently was a true statement, fucking hands) are mint songs off a mint album. Thanks for posting this man, its a cool song:)

  • @gibber259 Your friend was a dork. Put an album on and play. I like Creep by the way!

  • The best track on the album after 'Creep'.

  • yeah, been looking for this song for a while too. my friend band used to pay it. personally not a big radiohead fan, a little to wierd for my taste, but i love this song.

  • When I first listened to Pablo Honey, I became an instant fan of Radiohead. There aren't too many bands around who can have that effect on someone with their debut album. Pablo Honey should be considered one of the greatest debut albums from a famous band to have ever come out alongside the likes of The Smiths and Stone Roses.

  • pablo honey is grossly underated even by radiohead fans

  • Pablo Honey IS underrated! I still love it! I really enjoy their old stuff the most, so Pablo Honey is definitely in the top 3 (up there with The Bends and OK Computer) and it might very well be #1.

  • @matdur2000 Even by Radiohead themselves.

  • @matdur2000 Totally!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @matdur2000 it beats the shit out of kid a a, amnesiac and hail to the thief aswell. throw in rainbows in aswell coz that was a mean pile of dogshit

  • @choclatesaltyballz you cant call those master pieces dog shit.

maybe you dont like them but they rock! and apperantley your taste in music isnt that good... im not a fanboy but i cant see good music getting disrespected.

  • @choclatesaltyballz whats the best song off kid a then numb nuts

  • @choclatesaltyballz

How To Disappear Completely. Hands down best song by Radiohead for many reasons you probably aren't interested in hearing.

  • @DrunkenLeprechaunPro its pure rusty bumhole

  • @choclatesaltyballz

Your arguements as to proving that are quite strong, I must say. You're a very knowledgeable person with such amazing easiness with words... kudos to you for explaining why it's "pure, rusty, bumhole"

  • @matdur2000 absolutely!

  • @matdur2000 tell me about it! .. its considered the worst radiohead album..crazy ppl

  • i love this song

  • this and stop wispering are my favourite songs off pablo honey, pure quality .

  • Pablo honey imo. is ever so slightly more accomplished than OK Computer. The Bends 3rd. Its an irony I know but there are 5 tracks I always play on my MP3 still.....

  • Definitely, I think that the press and music critics have seriously downplayed Pablo Honey. I can completely relate to Inkpink, in the sense that I find myself listening to some of the songs that were released on Pablo Honey. There is an undeniable magnetism about their first album; where it seems to fit in perfectly with the early 90's alt. rock sound, yet it always had a distinctiveness about it that separated this band from everyone else.

  • i can see why people love this album. OMG it is good!

  • i use to snort meth while i listened to this back in high school. omg i was a bad kid. Long live the teenage revolution. because i gotta go to work and be responsible now wooo.

  • been looking for this song. thank you.

  • When i first heard this i got surprised cause it sounded like a song you've heard on the radio before, but that's impossible.

  • Best Radiohead album.

  • WHAT???!!! Dude... do you think Tom Cruise is a better actor than Anthony Hopkins? Do you think American Pie 2 is a better movie than Schindler's List? Wow... I could go on forever, but I'll try not to. I usually respect other people's opinions, but no. This is too far off. I mean, you're wrong. Sorry, but you're just wrong. Any other opinions that go against mine, fine, I don't have the correct answers to anything. But Pablo Honey is the weakest album by the world's greatest band. That's that.

  • Since you "don't have the correct answers to anything" then we'll all just ignore this comment =)

  • Omg, shut up, yorkeftw! People can have their opinions. A little close-minded, eh?

  • very well put. Closemindedness and radiohead don't go together. I don't understand how these people pop up all the time in radiohead comment section.

  • no kidding

  • is sarcasm your means of survival?

  • ???ok, i was agreeing with what you said, Mr.obviousupset. I was thinking that Mr.yorkeftw is a litle insane. i think the only reason he puts down pablo honey so much is that deep down inside he really loves the album, despite of all the critisism.

  • have you ever even listened to pablo honey?

  • amnesiac

  • unfortunately is the only album i had which is not as better as pablo honey, ok computer or hail to the thief

  • pablo honeyyyyyyyyy

  • one of my favourite songs off Pablo Honey. i dont know why it gets knocked so much. its a good album.

  • Eh... it's good, but not more than that. Same with "Hail to the Thief". It's considered way better than "Pablo Honey", but still... it's not AS good as a lot of other things Radiohead have done. I think HTTT is very good, but slightly weaker than the other albums of RH. Except for PH, which I think is an OK-to-good-album, but bullcrap compared to the other stuff they've done. Yeah, I was maybe a bit harsh there, sorry. Anyway, Radiohead aren't excactly proud of it themselves, and I understand.

  • Pablo Honey is their best album hands down. It was an unfettered rock sound that wasn't watered down with their electronica nonsense. They were much better as a straight ahead rock band, but got caught up in that late 90's electronica BS. I'll take any rock song they did over any electronic song they have done from any album.

  • "How Do You?" over "Everything In It's Right Place"? "Pop is Dead" over "Idioteque"? Just asking, and if the answer is yes then I feel a bit sorry for you and your closemindedness in music

    ( :P )

I'm sure I'm an asshole having to have the last word here, but that's just the way I am. Yeah, an asshole

  • Yeah so am I. So we'll duel to the death. Most rock bands who try electronica sucked at it. Radiohead was one of the only ones to eek out a few tunes that were good electronica tunes. For my money, The Bends and Pablo Honey are their best albums to date. Even In Rainbows got rid of the screwy electronica, or at least tried to bring it together well. I guess I'm much more of a guitar rock futurist than an electronica futurist, because the latter doesn't really have one.

  • oooo bitchy

i think with ok computer they pushed the boundaries with guitar music...their stuff since is them branching out in others directions and making beautiful music along the way...i prefer the guitar stuff but i cant stop listening to amnesiac, kid a, Hail to the theif or in rainbows

  • eh, the electronica stuff on Kid A is decent enough but a lot of it is still throwaway sounds. Some of it even sounds childish really with their toy piano sounds and crap they use. I am just not impressed by it at all they have much more to offer playing real instruments.

  • I like Pablo Honey better than Hail to the Thief, but all their work is good, every single CD. I have my favorites among them, but yorkeftw" needs to calm down about Radiohead fans' opinions...we all love the band, after all, that's why we're here!

  • I'm calm, I'm calm... :P

    Sorry everybody

  • It's OK, I see Radiohead fans are so opinionated! LOL!

  • i love the part between 3.10 and 3.28...i wish the whole song was based on that note

  • Kinetic and Kid A were sort of based on that note. thats why i love them so much. :)

  • no their not...u jus like the songs a lot ...idiot

  • Great song, and it's just for you, my queen...

  • great remembers

  • at the 3:20 they sound like pixies

  • Reciprocated !

  • Great song

  • thanks... love this song!
