@06HDBOSS i took it to ford and had it fixed they said it was a sensor but i don't know were it was located it was for the trailer brake control which told the computor how much pressure to put on the trailer brakes there was no way of deleting the code untill sensor was replaced i just pressed reset and it would stay off till i turned the key off then back on i'd have to press reset again
hello, i am looking into purchasing an 06 powerstroke f250. Any problems with yours (i see that it has been wrecked and I am sorry to hear that)? How is it noise wise inside when cruising? decent mileage? thanks!
@strumem90 never had problems with this one i have vids of cruising with this truck you can drive down the road and listen to the radio at a comfortable level and not notice the motor noise at all and i averaged 21mpg empty
@oney135 haha well we all know your going off that lie o meter. why don't you hand calculate the milage and you will find out the truth. but knowing you your to stupid to know that or know how. and wow that thing sounds like shit in the cold. atlest my cummins start right up with out fliping the key over and over and idles smooth. what a piece of shit you had.
@Silverado2010s i no longer have it sadly it was totaled out on july 20th it had 130,000 trouble free miles on it at the time of accident i was hit by drunk driver
maybe if you would have cycled the glowplugs twice then start it the truck might not have stalled at first but it being a diesel i think it started pretty well unplugged
@gonehuntin018 you can get a chip off ebay called mind blower performance that gains up to 50hp and 5mpg thats 34.95 but i decided to go with a tuner they range from 300-700 but they but they do more than hp and fuel gains i'm going with banks six gun but i may go with the edge wich is 600
@gonehuntin018 you will probly average 15-16mpg depends on driving conditions i averaged out 21-22mpg on the interstate and 16 city 13 pulling a load but i have upgrades on mine also and when i get my chip i'm told i could get 30mpg out of it
@gonehuntin018 122,000 miles on it and no problems at all best motor built in my opinion from 05-07 if you've seen my other vids you will see i am always pulling with it and its had a trailer behind it for the majority of its miles
@znofxz the only mods i have are what i showed under the hood banks ram air and banks high ram air both sold sepratly the ram air runs a larger air intake tube straight to the turbo and has a pickup tube running to the grill putting cold air straight to the turbo lowering egts and the high ram runs to the intake also puting cold air in the motor also helping lower egts and banks 5" monster exhuast from turbo back all well worth the money
nice truck i wanna know have you had any mechanical issues with it i have an 05 f250 6.0 and at 85000 miles the head gaskets blew and we had to bring it in to the shop ive talked to some guys and they say the truck is going to be a money pit and i should get rid of it but i love a ford and im going to keep it either way
the truck now has 118,000 miles on it now and absolutly no problems but i've got alot of upgrades on it to lower egts that kill the head gaskets but 06-07 they had the problems fixed if u have the head gaskets replaced tell them u want the stud kit put in the heads and u will never have any problems with it for along time
@gunnlover the low brake fluid level is on cause i broke a brake line wile going through a snow drift to help pull a guy with his family out of a snow packed ditch the tbc is on cause i ripped a wire off when i was out in a field with a lot of little trees i had to run over to get to a well i was helping pull like i said it is a work truck fords were made to work i use it as my oil field truck and my daily driver
@wolfsheadoil thanks a brake line is cheap the guy didn't even have enough gas to be there all night somthing bad may have happend if i didn't answer the door and no one came along i always been told do somone in need a favor and the favor will return to u when ur in need
@wolfsheadoil i wanted to do a drive vid on how bad the streets were in town the city didn't plow at all 3ft snow drifts in places i had to drive through one last night to go help pull a guy out the ditch he run off the road he walked the 3 miles in the blizzard to my house i was the only one that would anser the door had he not told me he had 3 kids with him one only 2months old i might have said no but on the way back i hit the drift again almost got stuck and ended up breaking a brake line

TBC Fault...ive got that too. Did you do anything to remove the code? They told me its a sensor in the master cylinder.

@oney135 i see MPG claims vary widely. mine rarely sees 18mpg on a hot, hot summer day. average is 14 mpg with no mods.

@schindlerman96 You don't need to cycle glow plugs. They stay on for 2 minutes. Cycling puts unnecessary wear on the glow plug relay.

@masonransom Also put in an EGR delete kit! Between that and the head studs, you shouldn't ever have any problems out of your truck! Good luck!

@gunnlover the low brake fluid level is on cause i broke a brake line wile going through a snow drift to help pull a guy with his family out of a snow packed ditch the tbc is on cause i ripped a wire off when i was out in a field with a lot of little trees i had to run over to get to a well i was helping pull like i said it is a work truck fords were made to work i use it as my oil field truck and my daily driver
