  • poor Spain. We'll be some years very bad........

  • I'd never do any kind of business in Spain. what a garbage and corrupt country

  • @loveloveamerica thank you

  • God knows how they ever got an Armada together

  • perhaps the problem is how much these places cost,,,,,??

  • Ahhh. I got it now it's the English EX patriots that have caused the poblem sy problems in the EU.

Back to sleep EU, all is well sorry for the inconvenience.

  • what a load of bulls.... this video is, the reality is nothing like this, The countries biggest poblem is the English people like the presenter, it is this negativity and miserable attitude to life which makes any place depressing to live in.. If they are not happy with it then they can keep shitholes like blackpool and brighton, dont come to other countries and critisie and/or manufacture lies about what is going on.

  • @thebossjennings first of all verything he i s saying is FACT.. second of all if you werent such a spic retart you might realize that your government is CORRUPT and STUPID .. the governments policies and push to build all these houses is what sank the spanish economy...

  • @massahole9 nobody is saying that the Spanish governments (not my government) policies weren't part of the problem, the banks are the biggest part of the problem, by making it far to easy to access money, the biggest culprits been the likes of Barclays, RBS, KBS, Anglo Irish and many more who themselves have the victims of their greed. This is what has led to mass over building, Lack of government regulation (or implementation of the law at local level) is the other major factor.

  • @thebossjennings Part of the problem was not the banks, the banks did what their government allowed them to do.... so the problem is the government for permitting it and not the banks, that goes for America, UK, Spain, Portugal etc. etc. The governments allowed it because they got high returns from money and now guess what, they blame the banks! Most countries are getting on, Spain has a major problem because the politicians and local authorities do nothing, they can't see 1 cm in front of them.

  • @gombra100 I agree with you in the most part, but the banks must also take some of the blame, but yes the Government are the biggest culprits, not only the national government, but also the EU or more specifically the ECB, which should also have been monitoring the situation accross Europe as a whole, their lack of regulation and monitoring over the early years of the Euro, could eventually lead to the demise of the Euro, which would have a huge knock on effect on all of Europe,

  • @massahole9 but the fact remains that the above video is very inaccurate and does not give the full story, its focus is to discredit these areas of Spain, and most scenes are shot at times of day which are always quiet. This is typical british attitude to focus on the bad(we know its bad) which adds to misery and will only serve to depress people, which is completly opposite to Spanish, hence the reason why millions of Brits live abroad. As for "Spic Retard" don't degrade your intelligence

  • @thebossjennings Yeah right, so now you are all suffering financially because your government have taken just about as much as the British will let them you tell the rest of the them to go home, this is the shortsightedness that has helped put Spain in the situation it is in.

  • By some bizarre coincidence, while watching this miserable little video I had to go and answer the door to my Spanish postman, delivering a pile of books I had ordered from Amazon.

PLEASE do not believe that what you are seeing here applies to Spain as a whole. The Costa Blanca might be one big cesspit for all I know (I've never been there and never wanted to) but I've lived happily in the Andalusian sierras for several years now and don't recognise any of this.

  • @cinnam0n6 "By some bizarre coincidence, while watching this miserable little video I had to go and answer the door to my Spanish postman, delivering a pile of books I had ordered from Amazon."

Hahaha, thanks for your support, mate. We have been so badly smeared throughout History than the whole thing looks to me as a friggin' joke. Things are gloomy now but I am hopeful we will bounce back. Old folks know well this is still quite a far cry from the horrors of the 1930s and 40s.

  • basically it's the english doing a runner and leaving debts, friends and even the family dog behind. other nationalities remain and continue working here. And continue building a future here.

  • The beach in this shot is too tiny to have a name, I would think. The nearest named beach (quite well-known, too, but for all the wrong reasons) is La Zenia, which is out of shot behind the hotel in the distance, about 2km south of the camera position. The stretch of shoreline at the camera position is known as Cala Mosca.

  • Really sad because it's such a beautiful country. By the way, what is the name of the beach where the Christmas cards washed up onto the shore? I tried looking for articles about it, but my search was fruitless.

  • spain should let the homeless gypsies in europe occupy them, and illegal immigrants in europe.

  • @steelersgold ugh, no it shouldn't. Why don't you let them, all these people, the homeless & immigrants, occupy your home and see how you like it.

  • Wow I thought things in Arizona can Nevada were bad. Spain seems to be the real poster child for over development and bad local laws.

  • @NoGoldenGoose , please dont belive this nonsence. its far off the mark the reality is that Spain is a wonderful country, nothing like what this english presenter depicts, he would be better of making a video about his own country and why the english dont want to live there anymore... which is because they are all such miserable people with such a dismal approach to live. If i was to choose a country in Europe to live in UK is at the bottom of my list

  • @thebossjennings Is the messenger dead yet?

  • @thebossjennings Ok thats why their are thousands of you here now looking for employment right???

  • This is what happens when you build urban development out of nothing but credit secured on nothing. In that sense the film`s title`s wrong, "Spain" isn`t dying, the majority of the indigeous Spanish live in communities which have been established for many hundreds of years & are built on something real, what dying is the false development along the Southern shore whose foundation is based on speculation & debt.

  • It isn't just the postal service. Iberia is a joke too. Whose idea was it to admit this banana republic into the EU?

  • seeing spain like this is very sad...wow

  • This is becoming a common sight all over the world...Today is just the beginning wait about two years from now...OMG

  • South Spain is already becoming the slum of Europe- all self-inflicted by greed and arrogance! It will bite the corrupt politicians also over time as it filters down. Where will the money come from now??? Spain shouldn't have p***** off the foreigners. NO-ONE WITH EVEN HALF A BRAIN CELL WILL INVEST IN SPAIN NOW!

  • I am a landlord,

Rent "charged" is actually rent paid.

    Peter

    You are not a landlord.

  • our president must die!he has destroyed us now he has to be destroyed

  • @barcelonagirl15 ---silly loro, what woudl that do? Everyone in crisis wants to blame one person. But don't forget the obscene greed of the spanish people who all wanted to cash in on their little beach side casitas, instead of investing in wiser things.

  • From the 3 min 45 sec mark would be like the whole world to a few lucky totally immune survivors if a super virus killed 99.999...% of the human race.

  • clearly there are high and low seasons but no traffic ? no pedetrians ? at all ? speaks volumes from where I sit

  • of course tiny places on the coast are empty most of the year and especially during the day. There's no decent work there and if there are no retired guiris . . . sorry, Northern Europeans, who is going to live there? Coastal places survive on summer tourism and there's not a lot more going for them in Spain. It's a no-brainer.

  • I am going to market my villa for $625,000.00 if i get a buyer i think i might let it go.

Any ideas?? Oh the rent on the villa is $350.00 per week.

    P

It is in mount Lawley western australia.

  • @foxbat101 if the rent is only 350$ 625 is a big ask in this market in my opinion.

  • @foxbat101 no one cares
