Great review!! Booked my stay for my fist three days in Bangkok before I'm off to other areas in Thailand over the month! If it wasn't for this video I'd probably be staying at the Novotel Bagna again, not a bad hotel, but away from the Skytrain.

Its not Khun, Khun is for a man, you meant to introduce them as Kru. I think thats why they were giggling at the start of your video

There's no pool. I look for three things when I go to Bangkok; a safe in my room, a free breakfast buffet, and a swimming pool. I don't believe their breakfast is free either. There are places in this price range and cheaper which feature those three things. Shop around.

They have breakfast included in many of the rates and many people who stay in that area aren't really interested in swimming. I still believe the hotel is an excellent value if it has what you're looking for.

Great Hotel, I stayed there three times. Restaurant is very good and will cook you some rice soup for breakfast fresh if you want it.

Ignore the standard, and superior rooms, only book the Deluxe rooms, much more space and standard size for the price range in BKK. Although they've been creeping up in price recently closer to the 3000thb/night range.
