  • WE SHOULD EMAIL CAPCOM AND TELL THEM TO RELEASE THIS GAME FOR NEX GEN CONSOLES LIKE ps3 Xbox360 and the psvita, and wii

  • Thanks.

  • im crying.........seriously, spikeout series , final fight series, streets of rages series, WHERE ARE THE NEXT GEN VERSIONS..........fighting games got revived why not beat em ups :'(

  • WTF is with Capcom, they cancel every game that is good

  • Este genero es el mejor del mundo ( the best of the world!!) .....junto con los de plataforma......lastima q ya no hagan juegos asi

  • Looks much better than Streetwise

  • @ilikethecoke Plays and looks much better than Streetwise. I guess Capcom wasn't intelligent enough to realize that this was a better game. So they made a crappy one.

  • @JojoMonReturns91 it looks almost the exact same as streetwise but with better graphics and it looks like both had 'zombies' in them :P

  • @shinra358 Difference was was that this would have worked for a game and wasn't "Americanized" for no reason. Streetwise was just plain trying to become "Ghetto" without giving proper backstory or interest.

  • @JojoMonReturns91 that's the theme that it was supposed to have. combating drug lords and etc in the streets. how else would you define an 'urban crime fighting' setting? you think that it would be any different in japan? last time i checked, no thug or gang setting involves rated-g language xD. the 'urbanizing' wasn't a big deal to me since that is what they did with the older titles. it was just the fact that they added 'zombies'. streetwise was still very fun to play though.

  • @shinra358 I know that. However, I know how the other "reviewers" have said Streetwise sucked and the whole thing with Belgar being a Catholic Father was kinda stretching things much. I'm not saying that you were wrong or anything, but I never did say Final Fight was a G-Rated title. It has been and always a R rated series.Sadly, we may not ever get to see another game of Final Fight since Capcom has concentrated WAY too much on Street Fighter and Resident Evil.

  • @JojoMonReturns91 I don't know about that. Capcom has been reintroducing 'Final Fight' characters in all of their recent fighting games: Cody, Guy, Haggar, Poison and Hugo. There's even a stage in Street Fighter vs Tekken that features the Mad Gear bosses from Final Fight 1. My guess is, Capcom will get to a proper FF sequel, but they want time to heal things over the whole 'Streetwise' debacle. It's been 7 years, it's about time.

  • That would of ben a grerat game to play! DAMN YOU CAPCOM!

  • @deciblez Sure looks like it.

  • It looks a lot like Gekido

  • In the light of all the SHIT available on PSN - they should seriousy revisit this... ...AND Capcom all stars... ...money to be made... ...FANS TO KEEP HAPPY!!!! When I was 12, I never thought I'd EVER say - I'm STARTING TO LOSE FAITH IN CAPCOM!!! So what if the engines aren't perfect? These days DLC can update them!!!! I'd rather play cool concepts and evolve with them, then sell my soul to fucking ninja theory!!!!

  • @PissedPlayinPimp Sometimes it does, specially when there is no one competent enough left to carry on with the legacy. Nintendo is nothing short of talented individuals, the most proeminent example being Shigeru Miyamoto, who not only works on his games but also oversees close to all games made by Nintendo. For example, it was due to his suggestion that Metroid Prime was made into an FPS instead of a 3rd person shooter. Meanwhile, Capcom... well...

  • @FeanorBR When they switched Metroid to FPS that really just disappointed me.

Because at present there are already nine million other FPS out there.

So it pretty much killed the interest of those fans who are not into FPS.

  • @nichirenx They didn't switch, it was a spin-off. And Metroid prime has absolutely nothing to do with the generic brown and bloom tacticool shooters that flood the market - it's about exploration and immersion, and arcadey action not unlike the plataform games it derived from.

  • @FeanorBR Just that FPS just really bore the living jeebus out of me... even with the exlporation in the Prime series.

  • @nichirenx Well, that's your opinion and you are entitled to it, even though I disagree (but still respect it).

  • @PissedPlayinPimp Thank god they cancelled it. Looked like crap, typical cash cow title without substance. Also with no Inafune I don't really expect anything good coming out of the megaman franchise anymore.

  • what's odd is the soundtrack for this is by Pitchshifter at around 3:48 is the instrumental for "floppy disk" as well as other songs throughout I really wish they would pick this back up...

  • Wow, I never heard about this before. Is that Dean from FF3?

  • @IamTheS if that is hes gotten even more badass than usual

  • @IamTheS Blonde, tall, strong, bas ass, with electricity at his hands.. yeaph i looks like Dean

  • id love to get this for the 360 arcade

  • WELL I did enjoy the Playstation 1 game Gekido. As for this .....it was a beta so I can fully judge it .

  • looks freakin' awesome. I miss good ol' beat-em-ups.

3D kinda ruined that sort of gaming for us eh...am I think only one thats starting to feel like a dinosaur before they're even 30?? lol, jeez

  • @ThoughtCrime84 i feel the same lol

  • They need a PS3 remake of Streetwise mixed with the cancelled Seven Sons...

  • @BatistaX Better yet! They need a Current Gen remake of the original Final Fight mixed with Seven Sons... Probably a bit of Godhand up in that bitch, too.

  • @NioYagami It's possible, maybe once Marvel vs Capcom 3, Street Fighter X Tekken, MegaMan Universe, Street Fighter 3 Online, and Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition is out the way, we can hope then.

  • @NioYagami I think that CAPCOM should remake the 1st 3 FF Games but animate them more similar in order to make it seem like trilogy and then do a brand new FF game!

  • @sammylane21 I figure you mean in the same sense Street Fighter 2 Turbo was remade, or in a whole new 3D way? I think a remixed version of the Final Fight series might be badass. Hell, if they can, retcon the hell out of Streetwise and make it into something awesome.

    Also; Godhand.

  • FIGHTING FORCE?

  • what trash

  • Why does all the games that get cancelled look the business and games u would like to play?? :-S

  • i would love to have a new Streets of Rage game... but only in 2D form, even if they use a 3D engine, just as long as they keep it 2D

  • this would be sweet as a PSN download with ONLINE AND LOCAL co-op

  • FUCK that looks amazing...

  • 7:30 - looks like a Rufus prototype

  • why did they cancel this Game?

  • Dean looks cool lol but this game looked like it coulda been developled a little better. Looked somewhat rushed, but this beats Streetwise by a long shot..a real long shot

  • please...just make a final fight game with, cody, guy, haggar, and bring dean back!!!

  • Final Fight Streetwise Arcade has better graphics, but I didn't like that stuff of fighting mutants. They should put normal humans as enemies, just simple as that.

  • this didnt get released why? it looks badass. not to mention I hear 'just one fix' by Ministry in the BGM around 6:10.

  • I am not sure why people give Streetwise a hard time... I played and beat the game, i thought it was a good game, though i am not a hardcore FF fan, i thought the game was good, average really, not as bad as a lot of people make it sound though

  • bah come on guys streetwise is not so bad is cool i have it and i spent a good time its addicting actually of course i know is not as good as the original but its sure a good game

  • @te0202 Also, Dead Rising 2 (which was made by an American developer) is proof that US developers have improved at handling Japanese IPs.

  • @neon6 indeed man

  • Anyone else notice the character portrait looks like Rolento?

  • i don´t know why but this gave me a little feeling of madworld.. they should do co-op beat em up game madworld style gore in it. It would be amusing =D

  • that game reminds me a game, Gekido

  • this game would've been WAY better then streetwise

Still, the FF feeling is missing....

  • I wonder why they where making this into a side scroller, they should have finished it, but as an open ended sandbox style game where you look for wanted posters, then beat up gang members and question them for information regarding their leader, as usual you can use the reward money to enter different dojos to learn fighting moves, training centers to increase your stats or thug stores to buy accessories such as gloves made of iron or with elemental attacks and knives.

  • Then once upon a while gangs attack bystanders, in this case you are accompanied by youre own gang, if you decide to work with the police, or rather have youre own gang, depends on what you choose, but choices such as these change your karma from "City defender", to "gang lord", consequently giving you new choices and unlock new playable characters, such as Eddy E if you turn bad, and Ken if you do good..

No really Capcom, read my comment and use my ideas to make a great Final fight game.

  • Lol, the fact that this game looks crappy, yet 1000 times better than streetwise makes me hurt.

  • I liked Streetwise, thought it had a hot soundtrack to it

  • Far too 'cartoonish'.

  • another game capcom should have released

  • They were going to make a Darkstalkers 4 too, on CPS3 but cancelled it. Thats Capcom "listening to their fans" for you.

  • This game isnt perfect, but a hell alot better than the disgrace called Streetwise, maybe Capcom were scared to release this Final fight because of the terrible sales Streetwise had.

  • call me crazy but i like final fight street wise better :O!!

  • @FatalFIV Absolutely right.

  • @FatalFIV you are crazy ! XD (im joking =3)

  • @FatalFIV Me Too:O I Like Streetwise I Mean I Love It It's Awsome

  • @FatalFIV Me Too:O I Like Streetwise I Mean I Love It It's Awesome But The Graphics Are Scary

  • The people who decided to cancel this but said yes to Streetwise need to kill themselves. They don't know what the hell they're doing sometimes.

  • zomg this looks like a ps1 game and sounds worse than a megadrive game

  • was this not released in the arcades as I used to play a game very similar to this

  • I wish Sony would release this on PSN.

  • lol They threw this away, but they saw Streetwise and said "YES THIS IS IT THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT FINAL FIGHT FANS WANT".

  • Streetwise was alright, up to the escort mission, but this game blows it out of the water.

  • it does look better than streetwise. 3d but its still side scrolling

  • Interesting...

  • The Bouncer actually had a pretty good system. Too bad it was too short :( . Had a lot of potential.

  • Are there any 2 player beat'em ups on PS2? I seriously can't think of any.

  • Was this not even released in JPN?

  • It really is a shame that this game wasn't released. It had so much potential going for it and had everything which a beat em up could ask for. Stylish visuals, fun looking gameplay, great soundtrack, decent camera angles, co op gameplay and a host of comical generic enemies.

  • This looks like everything Streetwise was missing; exaggerated sounds, over-the-top cool looking main character and moves, and 2-player.

  • looked really fun 2 play.

  • Wow, this was rightly canned.

  • looks better then Fighting Force for Psx / Saturn (canceled). thank god they changed the title from Final Fight to Fighting Force to save the name's respect.

  • Just make these games 2D like they should be with better visuals

  • damn this looks freaking awesome i want it!

  • ever stage on this es on street wise did anyone notice guys stage you can see the bar where u fight cammy

  • This game should have been released for the Dreamcast, and then re-released for PSN and XBLA in a near future.

  • Looks fun, but this game have more to do with Dreamcast in my opinion, no offence.

  • streetwise rules...you guys are political correct junkies...lol...On a good day streetwise is a cool game to play even when you smoke chronic and eat pizza...lol

  • kinda makes me think of fighting force

  • The first version is the best this one is a bit silly.

  • This one reminds me of Gekido on PS1.

  • way better than streetwise..

  • Wtf is Rufus doing in this game?

  • some games should really remain in 2d

  • PS1 graphic

  • @Darkomegamagic Lol. You must have never owned a PS1, idiot.

  • @Deltacide1 well i play ps1 games i only play game that i know like metal gear solid final fantasy crono trigger and resident evil and i have a ps2 ps3 but i never owned a ps1

  • @Deltacide1 this is not supposed to be a ps2 game beacuse it a 2d graphic and it suppose to be in ps1+ps1 game is a 2d graphic so idiot yourself

  • The fact that you can walk diagonally betwteen the different levels just sucks. I am, that is one of the most distinctive features of the game, the small range of movement. And this is just crap. Go play the Double Impact, that's a real great game.

  • yeah i dont know wat u guys r talking about, streetwise was pretty good. it actually made a good transition to 3D and thats rare for old skool games

  • I would have liked to play this. And Streetwise wasn't that bad.

  • @johnny718bravo The lack of a true multiplayer killed it for me... The game simply wasn't a Final FIght game. Plan and simple.

  • Wow, this looks like fun! Too bad it wasn't released...I may have brought this one than not buying Streetwise at all.

  • dude the song sounds close to Genious from Pitchshifter if you listen carefully

  • Por que cargas d'agua não lançaram esse jogo afinal?? Por que as boas ideias não são aproveitadas?? Compare o visual, os golpes, todos os detalhes desse e dá pra ver que ele lembra mais final fight do aquele " StreetWise"

  • "I'm not fisnished"... LOL is that Karnov ??!!

  • why did this get cancelled? it looks better than streetwise

  • why the fuck was this cancelled. im sick of playing streets of rage(not really) but can we please get an updated GOOD beat'em up?

  • final fight streetwise is okay if you're souly looking to beat the hell out of multiple people.

  • I know. They need to bring back scrolling beat em ups 3d or otherwise. That good ole beat em up style games where you can pick up randoms weapons, double team moves with your friends, beat up on AI baddies, and end of level Bosses that had that evil laugh before they unleashed the pain. Where are these types of games ? And they must be 2 player at least how cool would Devil May Cry be if it was 2 player. :D

  • If another 'Final Fight' is in the works, lets hope its good old school FUN, like the 2D beat-em-up versions, and not some 'Grand Theft Auto' wannabe without cars (like StreetWise was).

  • Seven Sons is a lot closer to the original 2D Final Fight Series than StreetWise ever was. It looks more like an old school action-brawler, but done in 3D graphics/setting.

Plus, the Press Start prompt on the right-hand side meant that Seven Sons would have been a 2-Player brawl-fest!

Air-Combos, Weapon Attacks, Pinning Attacks, Power-Up Modes: yeah Capcom should have at least considered releasing Seven Sons for the PSP at a later date, since they choose to go with StreetWise for consoles.

  • Omg Capcom is stupid they should've released this on PS2-Now bring it back it reminds me of Streets Of Rage!!!.. Damn how dumb were you Capcom the same go's for Sega! oh yeah there back!! I like the Music!!!

  • combat looks a lot more fun than streetwise

  • I prefer this type than sweetwise (don´t like much this game)!

  • Looks bad. Not even gonna waste my time watching the video.

  • i love beat em up but this is horrible :S

  • I liked Streetwise but i was the Arcade was as fun as this

  • Just a note: the voices, tone and phrases from cholos at the subway station are really cool -and accurate:

    * Déjate venir = Come on!!

    * Te voy a cortar, cabrón = I'm gonna cut you, motherfucker.

  • Whoa incredible sound effects. Doesn't look too bad actually!?

  • It's not the best, but it seems a hell of a lot better than Final fight Streetwise. Seriously, that game hurt my soul.

  • @afrotrigger I played Streetwise, and never had a problem with it, not sure why people give it such a hard time...

  • @Jshaw71 If you're not a hardcore fan and found the game average, I'm sure you can imagine how some of us hardcore fans felt about Streetwise.

Ignoring for the mo that I'm a huge fan of beat em ups and FF, Streetwise had no real style and seemed like a game that was trying far too hard to be dark and gritty. The play mechanics were just about average, and the game really dragged after the beginning. but hey, looking back now, at least it's not as broken as Final Fight Revenge. Or maybe it is.

  • @afrotrigger No i am not a hardcore fan of the games, and yes i found it to be average, to the hardcore fans if your going to bitch about plotholes in a 20 year old update to a game, stop you could be doing more important things with your time, I am a HUGE transformers fan, and there's plotholes a plenty in the g1 series let alone the bay movie, i try to find the good in it yeah the game was trying too hard to be dark and gritty, i agree, i guess the game drug on, but it was a good game

  • @Jshaw71 I hear you. The thing is, with games there are some which have a terrible story but gameplay good enough that you don't pay so much attention to it. Unfortunately, Streetwise wasn't one of those games in my eyes.

To simplify my feelings on the game, I'd just say it was messy and could have done with some streamlining and more testing. And more... Interesting visuals. On a positive note, the music was actually quite good.

  • @afrotrigger I am sorry that you feel that it was such a horrible games, imo, i wasn't THAT bad, but that's just me... all games could benefit from more testing and more streamlined gameplay and more interesting visuals, I didn't like or dislike the games soundtrack, as far as the liscened the music, however the games remixed FF1 was nice, arcade mode, and FF1 in the game was cool

  • The character in this game kinds reminds me of Dean

    from FF3.

  • That's because it actually is Dean. :D

  • i thought i've heard these songs before. is this the soundtrack from the game licienced? or a custom soundtrack. like u can put in thrill kill for psx.

  • Why not make a Final fight in 2d using HD sprites? think about it, 2d is really the only way a beat'em up is gonna work.

  • Urban Reign says, "Hello."

  • @Krimmson I didn't like Urban Reign, plus it was more of an arena brawler not a beat'em up.

  • Mixing final fight with resident evil only worked when it was called Zombie Revenge...

  • Whata hell is that????

I don't wich is more shit... Streetwise or this seven sons lol

U know what? Capcom USA do NOT know how to do a Final Fight game

  • not too bad, thanks for the upload, i wouldn't mind playing this, really, where did you get it?

  • Man, the way Capcom has treated such an awesome franchise all this time just makes me wanna cry. FF deserves a true revival.

  • Capcom always treats their classics like shit. Look at Megaman 9 and Street Fighter 4. We never got Capcom Fighting All-Stars, or a sequel to Project Justice/Rival Schools. The only thing looking good right now is TVC.

  • What's so wrong about SFIV?

  • The roster, Seth, Rufus, no SFIII characters, Yoshinori Ono's SFII bias, the fact that the gameplay was a step down from SFIII.

  • The gameplay isn't that much of a step down considering it borrows several elements from SFIII like super cancels, EX moves, grab & taunt button inputs, knock down recoveries, etc. and even when I still like SFIII gameplay better, that doesn't mean SFIV gameplay is bad.

The roster could have used 1 or 2 SFIII and FF characters, but overall it still has the cool classic characters, and the new ones aren't bad.

  • The only new characters I like are Abel, Crimson Viper, El Fuerte, and Gouken. Hopefully Super Street Fighter IV will add characters like Guy, Cody, Ibuki, and Makoto. Juri in Super Street Fighter IV looks like an interesting character, but still is no match for Kim Kaphwan when it comes to Taekwondo fighters.

  • Wow, you just don't know how wrong you are. Capcom actually treats a lot of their classic franchises better than most other companies these days.

Also, MM9 and SFIV were pretty damn good games. :D

  • Megaman 9 was a rehashed NES game. If capcom can make an HD remake of SF2, then why not a HD Megaman?

  • they did that on purpose. megaman 9 was awesome btw.

  • A collection of all the megaman games, re-made with 8's graphical style?

    hgn*cum*

    Best idea ever

  • Comment removed

  • This the problem of FF Streetwise... Capcom try mix Final Fight & Resident Evil in game

But if i want kill zombies i play RE , no FF

I hope someday they make a straight Final Fight story as old school

  • At least when Capcom canceled Resident Evil 1.5 (which looked good) they made a great game in place of it.

This canceled Final Fight looks way better than it's thug rumble replacement, especially for a beta.

  • what the hell is with these sound effects. there hilarious

  • this game should have been released, alongside of streetwise or at least before it. Also there should be finial fight characters in SF4!!

  • We need a Godhand sequel dammit.

  • @XxKyKiske2007xX

I completly agree. Don't let a smart ass hero, and a excellent video game go to waste. First one was a masterpiece with witty one liners.

  • Wow... also, I do like the graphic style...

  • this games WAAAY better than streetwise. this wouldve kicked ass if they hadnt of cancelled it. Damn creators...

  • this is amazing, it would look great on the psp!!!..

  • yea it would...i've never even heard of this project!!!

  • Looks pretty generic honestly. And this is coming from a true Final Fight fan.

  • Wow, I'm surprised someone posted this.

This demo took roughly 3 MONTHS to get to this state -- plus 2 completely playable characters. We had a very small team & bled for this game just to get it approved. "FF Streetwise" was not created by choice. It was a mandate from the "New" head of Capcom Studio 8, Inc. The team was VERY happy with taking this route.

  • Also a new Final Fight with an open world Metro city would be pretty sweet, something along the lines of GTA or Saints Row but with a very detailed fighting system and perhaps having the main characters change clothes but no further customization than that.

  • It looked pretty similar to the originals just that it was in 3d, sorta like SF4 being 3d but in a 2d perspective like the originals.

I wish Capcom would make a new Final Fight game, I only played 3 on the SNES but I loved it. Beat-em-ups are so much fun with coop play.

    Also I love Poison :)

  • You know Poison is a tranvestite right?

  • Of course I do, thats why I like him.

  • I pretend she's not.

  • Naw it's coz in one countrys version they replaced her with a male character and put both as the same person in the storyline and stuff.

  • I would say that it was a lie to try and keep her in the game.

  • wow this one doesnlt look half bad

  • OMG IS THAT KYLE?! I remember seein' that design for him!

  • wow amazing game!!! too sad it got cancelled...

  • Final Fight :Dynasty Warriors

  • Most intense game ever! To hell with screwing over Street Wise for this, they should've just released both, not every series is perfect.

  • The ORIGINAL track that's used for the first Street level was Pitchshifter, "Genius", but the song is obviously a remix of that. It might be the remix on their Bootlegged, Distorted, Remixed & Uploaded album, which I can't even find for sale or download.

I don't know the Bar level music, however, the music used in the Factory level is fucking awesome, so if anybody knows what that music would be, please let me know!

  • cool graphics... cellshading effects... nice sound and animation... looks like fun to me:)

  • meh, this looks basically like gekido...

  • too fucking bad it got cancelled, seems like a good ff game to me

  • For those curious about the metal track on the Subway level, it's Ministry "Just One Fix" from Psalm 69.

  • even the music on the subway level is very good somebody knows who plays it??
