im a big fan of mac cosmetics but ive never tired their foundation ,

I have loose powder and foundation. I use the foundation first but every time I put the powder on top, it looks so.....powdery..you know? So fake. Is there any way to help this?

@whyshouldicare12345 i know i'm not fleur but a good way is to avoid cakeyness is to exfoliate with any exfoliator before you put your makeup on but try only exfoliating for about 2/3 times a week. it could be too harsh. but if your makeup still looks cakey take a cosmetic sponge and put it under warm water for about 10 seconds then squeeze all of the water out( all of if) soak it in a towel if you must, then put just a tiny bit of your face moisturizer on the sponge and dab it softly all over.

I have the 150 brush from MAC, and it works really well, and it's super soft. The only down side is it's so soft that if I'm around anyone while I'm doing my make-up, they are constantly grabbing it and running their hands over it, which gets the oil from their hands on it. Haha it's kind of annoying. Love the videos! I'm subscribing :)

I was just wondering if you can use any brush for the foundation, like a blusher brush or if the Stigma ones are the only ones that work?

I wouldn't reccomend using a blusher brush for foundation. Any foundation brush that is similar to MAC's 190, 187, 109 etc are all good for foundation. If you can't afford to buy MAC or sigma ones there are a lot of cheaper copies of them in drugstores. And if not you can always use your fingers - fingers are one of the best ways to apply foundation, as the heat helps to melt the foundation so it will blend better into your skin x

I find the formulation is different if you buy this seperatley. The single concealer i find does dry up - but the ones in the palette don't really at all - I've had this for a year now, and i didnt use the concealer untill recently and it hasn't dried up.
