Hitler blamed the Jews for inflation. Did you know that the Germans censor everything about Nazi Germany and World War II in their text books? If they don't know what happened in the past, history will repeat itself. You have to tell your people what was bad about your country as well as what was good.

People should not be so superficial, this is a well told and acted version of the events that happened to Anne and her family and friends during those awful times when they forced into hiding only to await worse yet to come, there are many versions of Anne's story and this is but one of them, and it does honor to Anne's diary and the facts as we know them from Miep and the other helpers and Pim, who survived thank G-d! A 5 star presentation!

Anne Frank is an inspiration, that is true. But don't forget the others that took chances to help the Jewish, Homosexuals, Christians, and others escape. Such as, Feng-Shan Ho, Irena Sendler, Hugh O'Flaherty, Giorgio Pertasca, Chiune Sugihara, Georg F. Duckwitz, Frank Foley, Aristides de Sousa Mendes, Dimitar Peshev, Raoul Wallenberg, Pope Pius XII, and of course Oskar Schindler.

@HannahNoelle2158 that one is good apart from the end is so annoying and inaccurate!! there is a voie over with anne speaking saiyng something like "they've given us 5 minutes to pack our things" etcetc....she never wrote a final entry!! as if they'd have let her. i enjoyed that version until the last 5 minutes. and in fact they didnt even know the soldiers were coming until they were in the annexe but they make out like they coulc hear them and prepared with otto making that speach
