A few months ago, I was a union member in Minneapolis. The more I participated in my union, the more my boss tried to fire me. My union protected its members who were only exercising their legal rights. My union in Minneapolis helped to bring our monthly health insurance from about 150 per month to 20 by the end of our contract.
