  • Oh~ :')

  • Don't let the Republicans crush the dream!

  • This is a Great song,it brings back memories,of real love and peace.GARY V.

  • bloody monkies!

  • Superbe! Bravo! Salute of France!

  • Amen! I'm a retired (Streight) hair stylist and I have lost more than one or two job's because I wasn't Gay or I don't smoke pot! I don't care what anyone does in their bed. Don't fire me because I don't fit in with you;r scene! This one goes out to the crew at Salon at The Walk! and all the other's that have practiced their Prejudice on me! You F%^&*ker's know who you are.!!! P.S sue me I dare you

  • A great song which

    symbolize the social

    revolution.

  • If you are Canadian do not take your weed Our fearless leader Stephen Putin is making it a crime where getting caught with personal shit can ruin your life. My smoking days are well behind me but my youngest smokes up and it scares me because the Conservative gestapo machine will, destroy people like him with their radical new laws.

  • @TheOldpoop Damn, that's food for thought right there. Times have changed and the Police State has all kinds of new laws aimed at rounding us up into their prison system. I always wondered who made these 'laws' and for whom. I also believe there will be another flase flag style attack like 9-11 and there will be another war. Its at that point man. Weapons in space, killer satellites! Logans Run coming soon...

  • @sLdGlD Things are changing but we can fight it. This won't be a police state unless we give up our rights for "protection". Look up "Know Your Rights with Joseph-Gordon Levitt"... This is our country, and whats more dangerous than al-queda or the taliban is Americans. Americans that are too lazy to stand up for their rights or challenge what we know is wrong. Get motivated, get active, or for christ's sake get angry and don't let this shit happen.

  • this older music is realy the best...i just love it.....mmm

  • Not gonna click it, simply because you told me to and especially because you did it in caps. Stupid ass.

  • i love sf

  • stand up... and fight for nature

  • i was there yeah i'd love to go back!

  • @hazel2160 Go ....take a pic this time.

  • I live in this city, this city fucking sucks. Coming from a 15 year old who's lived here all my life.

  • @bloodtimer why does it suck?

  • @yoyoyodooo The people are awful, this city may look nice, but there is actually very little to do here once you get over the sights. It's expensive as hell to live here, people have a very, very I'm better than you attitude, and there is quite a bit of racism towards you if you aren't Asian.

  • @bloodtimer Your right, I was there for 4 years and if you are not rich, forget it. Elitist, left wing know-it-alls.

  • @bloodtimer It makes me so sad to say you are right there are the Gays and different race groups I'm careful when I have to go to SF I just Thank God I am up here in Eugene/Springfield ,Oregon isnt as right wing as Washington here and we didnt really bring our normal sex lives up it was private then and my lady is gone now

  • @rsdno I've got no problem with the gays or other races, but everyone is just so in your face about it. I mean, why can't people just be calmer about who they are? I don't parade everywhere saying I'm white and so on and so on. Sorry about your lady.

  • @bloodtimer youre not persecuted for being white, though.

    just something to think on.

  • @bloodtimer oh geez i know what you mean. if you're gay, for jesus sake, be gay all you like, just stop flaunting it in the faces of people who arent. no one attacks homosexuals in our decade anymore. why cant you just keep your beliefs and preferences to yourself. all this parading shit just makes me exasperated.

  • @GermanPeoplePerson Exactly, I mean on every wall in high school here is some advertisement about how "this school is gay friendly" and it's ridiculous. Also, another thing that really frustrated me was the black club, Chinese club, Japanese club, Mexican club, and such and such. But then when I mention a white club (not that I'd ever have any interesting in joining a club based on race) I am called the racist. It's ridiculous. People complain about discrimination, yet embrace the differences.

  • 0:38... where does that girl live?

  • @MrMferg240 LOL, she ain't a girl now!

  • WTF is up with the dislikes??????

  • @V1NCH3NZZ0 One word: Trolls.

  • When I heard this song, I was heading to SFO to head off to Vietnam. A strange contrast between peace and war.

  • @chigurh01 go fuck yourself

  • wish girls whould dress like that today

  • @Jamesdavis33333 well not every girl/woman dresses like a tart but i see where your coming from

  • @Jamesdavis33333 Trust me man, they do. I myself dress as a hippie every now and then at school just to make the culture revive a little.

    Peace~

  • @Jamesdavis33333 if we get to work hard enough and get just enough money to spend after taxes, debts, etc...No Doubt, We would've been dressed in such a way a long time ago ;)))

  • @Jamesdavis33333 People do dress that way. There are still tons of hippies all over the world, both young and old. You just have to know where to look for them. ;)

  • Nice arrangement.

  • jackass/ waste of time

  • GREAT! SONG!

  • lolol the very first picture is my friend Laura

  • Next time I go to San Francisco I'll put flowers in my hair like the girl in the thumbnail:) I love that city!

  • Chicks! Chicks! Chicks! whoooppeee!!!!!!!!!

  • Nicely done.

  • This actually made me cry! I am imagining it being played (maybe with a sitar and two guitars) as a kind of 'preamble' to a 'Summer Of Love' themed concert. A bit like Meat Loaf used to do at his concerts. He'd have a string quartet playing soft and sweeping rock music (Meat's / Jim's songs) before the loud guitars came out and took the stage over.

  • Great job - I wish I could play a guitar!!!!

  • how come tom smothers and shawn phillips never appeared at woodstock?history would have been quite different

  • Marvelous.

    Relaxing too.

  • Thank you I love it. Nice job.

  • a good little song this rendition

  • @MsWochenplan Happy birthday daddy :-)

  • Very Good..Love it.

  • proficiat

  • that cute girl at 0:40 is not at all saggy, nor wrinkled, nor leather. She is a beautiful old lady with long silvery white hair and a lovely smiling face.

  • @SissyNekoBoi we live forever, the body is a mere illusion of the spiritual true self... (((AWAKEN))) ;-)

  • a doper song it mesmerized a generation of teenagers to go to san fran for what I don't know

  • :3 Awww! The girl at 0:40 amazed me! What angelical beauty I think I'm falling in love with her. It's an angel, a very cute girl. The most beautiful hippie girl that I've seen in some many pics.

  • @jeandemetz2009 I hope you realize that picture was taken decades ago and that she's probably a saggy, wrinkly bag of leather

  • @SissyNekoBoi what a nasty cunt you are

  • zo,n bandje kocht ik ik draag als haarbandje in haar gekleurde kralen met witte kleine roosjes en gekleurde koord om in te vlechten ja bedenk ik zelf spul kost niets

  • this is great!!:)

  • very nice, lovely song and you played it very well enjoyed it

  • We had this played at our mums funeral as she requested. If I had know this version was available I would have had this played. So real and so nice Thanks. I'm sure she's still listening to all we play.

  • Merry Xmas!

  • man i am 16 years old and i would give anything to spend a year in that time era. i love this music

  • @raphiacn1 To be 16 years old in 1967 would be a perfect age to witness the '60s.

  • @jgstargazer It certainly was.:)

  • @jgstargazer Better than to be 60 years old...

  • Comment removed

  • @raphiacn1 if u find a way how to do that please tell me cuz im gonna join u :)

  • @raphiacn1 To bad that era ended quickly and the area became a drug addict infested mess.

  • @raphiacn1 I wanne join youu ;d

  • @raphiacn1 Finally a smart kid!

  • @raphiacn1 Ikr? I'm 16 and there's not a lot i wouldnt do to live in the 60's-70's. Wheres a time machine when you need one?

  • oh sweet acoustic sound..where art thou today x

  • Scott Did it better, but nice.

  • Those are some sharp images...

  • The real name is : San Francisco. Call the things by the name !

  • Some hippie chick in Union Square (NY) asked me if I'd like to watch her do a DONKEY. I said, "Sure." She then said, "Pay me $400 up front." I said, "What??" She spat out:"The show ain't for free. This ain't San Francisco, you dumbass!"

  • @BrokenneckYgor did you pay her?

  • Nice version of this old hippie classic ..... what timultuous years those were. Sometimes I wonder how I ever survived them ..... The 1960s as youth ... There were the best of times, they were the worst of times .....

  • excellent !

  • Why change the title?

  • I like this version of Scott Mackenzie 1967 "San Francisco"...Let's all get drunk because Jim Morrison said so...Dan O'Niallain

  • Saudades! Quantas recordações! Pessoas queridas que carrego até hoje em meu coração.

  • I love san francisco

  • Wooooww

  • i really adore this song. acoustic instrumental lovers might like this up and coming trio of (chamber violin) meets (early and late 60s guitar) and a drummer whose study is classical. atypical arrangements gaining attention in California, Sweden, Germany and Italy. They go by "Star FK Radium" Search for them on Youtube.

  • sad, but wheres ur face paint im thinking behind one of ur ears

  • great cover. thanks. ive been looking for it and finally found it thanks to you. ;D

  • Listening to things like these is what keeps me learning to play guitar :D

  • @OneTeenager Cool, how the guiter learning going D?

  • this is really good, like it allot

    saved to favs

  • Don't list this as 'If You're Going To San Francisco - Scott McKenzie'. Its not!!

  • Hello Father! ;) My take on this song is that the instruction of "be sure to wear a flower in your hair" was so that those "dissenters" could be easily identified by those doing the identifying. That's my take on it. Nice cover though. Everyone be sure to /watch?v=-f1Ai8J1vJY and rate it. Have a nice day.

  • @gregalabama maybe you already know this, but at the time this song was written to promote the Monterey Pop Festival which was in SF and it was THE place to be for flower children. That's why he says you should put flowers in your hair ;) peace n love, bro

  • Great Cover...
