The thing is that these descriptions are so vague that no matter what modern science tells us, the creation stories can be interpreted to fit the scientific knowledge. As it is with the same for "proof" of Science in the Bible, it are modified translations with modern or "suitable" synonyms for ancient words, wishful/twisted interpretations of poetic phrases and weird associations with modern knowledge. If for example Newton's Principia would be interpreted this way, one might find it predicts the Last Day of Judgement, Divine Creation, etc. Surely, if one would make the effort, it could be "found". The drop relates to verse 12 , where man was created from the finest clay. In verse 13 it (man) was laid in the shape of a drop, placed in secure deposit (?). Because the researcher had a bias and he actually admits it in his 1st book, he made a conclusion before the lab. test came back. But in his second book he states that the test results reveal that he was not drowned! But like any other good religious NUT he say's that this proves the Qur'an any way :D. And its is not even the right pharaoh's body!

I believe the Quran also states that the Universe was one entity (God) and that it expanded to be the Universe we know now.... sounds alot like the Big Bang Theory. Did someone think of that earlier... because I'm pretty sure those ideas came after the Hubble Telescope when we discovered space was expanding.. which the Quaran also states.

@willsmackyoudown If you want to interpret the Quran that way. All religions have their own miracle claims and most of them have their own creation myths. The thing is that these descriptions are so vague that no matter what modern science tells us, the creation stories can be interpreted to fit the scientific knowledge. And if they can't, then of course their meaning must be metaphorical.

@THABIGGESTWORM (2) The word 'Iron' itself is only mentioned in verse 25 of this chapter. If we count the word God(ALLAH) mentioned in the very first verse of this Chapter right till the verse where the word 'Iron' was present, You will get exactly 26 word GOD(ALLAH). And 26 is the Atomic number of iron!
And take note also that Chapter 57 is the CENTER of the Quran (because Quran total chapter 114/2 = 57) And what is absolutely abundant in the CORE or the CENTER of the earth? IRON again!!

Chapter 57 in the Quran is called "The Iron" in Arabic (Al-Hadeed). The word (Al-Hadeed) in Arabic has a gematrical value of 57, the same as the Chapter number in which it is mentioned.
The gematrical value of the Arabic word "Hadeed" (iron) WITHOUT the "Al" (the) is 26. In the Periodic Table of Elements, the 26th element is IRON (Fe) meaning the number of protons in the iron nucleus is 26.

ppl u wanna credit/discredit the bible read it in greek as it was written. u wanna discredit the torah (which reads VERY different from the old testament as written in the greek septuigent due to hebraic meanings of words and LETTERS) read it in hebrew. u wanna discredit the quaran or the vedas or book of mormon etc read them in their languages understanding words in the context they were used in back when the books were written-don't modernize words

@qptqpt You have spoke falsely. the mountains stabilize the earth lest it tumbles, so they are affixed in the crust along tectonic plates to counteract the inner earths gravitational pull. 7 heavens don't literally mean 7 physical places, rather they represent the 7 levels of atmospheres surrounding our earth. Both in Bible and Quran, heaven is a metaphor for a state of being. In this case it is concerning gas mass. Quran also talks about 7 earths representing the 7 layers of our earth
