  • These crease, fade and smudge so badly on my eyes, even with primer! I'm not sure why...i think im the only one this happens to!!

  • @littlemisspaintpot It happens to me too. Try putting an eyeshadow over! I use them as a base over my primer and my eyeshadow lasts 8+ hours.

  • How do you remove them?

  • Can i use this as a primer before eyeshadows? and whats the difference between the paint pots and the mac paints in the tube? thanks

  • Thank you! I got Fresco Rose and I've been using it on my cheeks since the day I got it. I thought I was the only one haha!

  • ee you know every time i type some product of mac in the title bar you will always come up with a tutorial this is great you are a great girl thanks for all your helpful tutorials.x

  • is fresco rose discontinued?

  • @MissPopularCulture YES :( go grab one before it's gone! you probably only need one! those babies last forever!

  • @MissPopularCulture nope just got it for xmas!

  • omg, these are the exact 4 that I was looking for reviews on! what a perfect video! ahaha, thank you so much :)

  • paint pot dues:

fresco rose= elf all over color stick in pink lemonade

bare study= elf all over color stick in spotlight

indian wood=elf all over color stick in toasted

rubenesque=elf all over color stick in persimmon

  • do these crease at all in the eyelid? cause cream shadows seem to do that.

also do you think these work as a primer?

  • @summercupcakexo nope, the paint pots dont crease. and theyre great as an eye primer. i la la looove them!

  • I heard mac was discontinuing light colored pots like painterly, quite natural etc? Have you heard this? iF SO which ones? PLEASE RESPOND: )

  • @chakazulu87 Why would they discontinue those products?! Of course they aren't, as far as I know they are staples in the Mac collection!

  • @karaelkins7 Another guru made a video stating it I'm kind of sceptical too just asking around too see if it was true.

  • @karaelkins7 Woh! YOu're sooo pretty!

  • is bare study white?

  • @KiraShimMers Barestudy is a translucent white with pearl. n_n

  • @KiraShimMers its a champange colour with gold and white shimmers its gorgeous :)

  • What is a good netural paint pot for people with dark skin?

  • @MusicLovers1021 I would go with Quite Natural PP. n_n

  • @MusicLovers1021 I am very happy with Indianwood and Coral Crepe. If you have oily lids they work better than most primers.

  • I feel the need to go buy more paint pots xD

  • @LovesTheWay2Go haha me too. I LOVE eyeshadow bases!! n_n

  • Hi! I am thinking about getting a painpot because i don't have any primers/bases and i dont have urbandecay/ too faced here. If you put this and put shadow on it, does it help the shadow last all day ? Because that's why i want to get.

  • @dance00000 Yes. It helps with duration and pigmentation. UDPP is better but the PP has a nice opaque base and helps conceal and seems to last longer. n_n

  • Thank you so much for replying :)

Okay! Then i will def get it ! yay

    Ps. I just subscribed ;)

  • @dance00000 You're welcome! Let me know how it works for you!! Thanks so much for subbing hun!! n_n

  • do you find the frost finishes of the paint pots very drying? i have bare study and it feels very grainy on the lids so now i just use painterly. i really want to get rubenesque paint pot but i'm scared it will have the same drying effect as bare study.

  • @0rientalpearl They all are a bit drying, however if you moisturizer your face prior and use a primer they will go on smoother. Yeah Rubenesque is going to be like Bare Study in texture. n_n

  • I have the paint pot in Painterly and I love it! It primes my lid and I can use it everyday. =)

  • @macluver35 It's a great Paint Pot!! I use Soft ochre pretty much daily too. n_n

  • Thanks for replying, I only have one paint pot now(painterly), but I'm sure I will get more!

  • @macluver35 I love paint pots their so versatile!! n_n

  • can u use rubenesque and indianwood like rubenenque as primer and indianwood as the main eyeshadow, but that's it. you wouldn't use anything else. just the two paint pots. would those two look good together

  • You can actually use indianwood as a primer/shadow and leave out rubenesque. But to open up the eyes, I have done several times before, rubenesque all over the lid or in the inner corners of the eyes, and indianwood an the outter v and crease. It's a very neutral and beautiful everyday look! hope this helps! n_n

  • thanks!

  • You're welcome! n_n

  • painterly creased on me idk y =( i just applied it on my bare lid and put eye shadow ovr it and... =/ what am i doing wrong? idk... mayb its jus the priduct.

  • You need to use a very thin layer, a little goes a long way. If you use too much it will crease. Hope this helps! n_n

  • thnx so much for your response i will barely use any next time n let u kno how it goes. cuz i would swirl my brush in there but not use alot so hopefully itll wrk if i barely go in there. hopefully itll wrk bettr next tym i jus really wanna love this product! lol

  • Yeah I hope it works for you. I have hear some people say it creases, I think its due to applying too much. I have quite a collection now. I'd say like two to three gentle swipes is enough for the whole lid. Do let me know how it works for you! n_n

  • swthoney169, paint pots don't work as anticrease primers for all. I have to use UDPP first, then the paint pot. If you have oily skin/eyelids then creams will crease w/o a good primer first. Hope this helps.

  • thnx for ur reply it did help =)

  • Great glad to hear!! n_n

  • You seem rlly nice im subscribing right now! <3

  • Aw thanks for subbing!! Hope you enjoy. n_n

  • do u think that i can use bare study alone?? :)

  • Yeah you could wear it alone. It's has a lot of white shimmer to it, so if you like a white shimmer shadow, you'll like it. Or you can use a little and it will just give you a nice shimmer.

  • thank uu!!~

  • You're welcime! n_n

  • hi! i was just wondering coz i have bare study, could i wear it as an eyeshadow primer?

  • Yes, you certainly can. They make great eye shadow bases. Just remember to use a thin layer so that it doesn't crease.

  • Thanks! Just used it! Its pretty good! But i dont know if I should try the UDPP coz ive been hearing some nice thing about it. They say its a great primer.

  • Glad to hear it worked for you! Yeah I haven't tried the UDPP. I've heard good things bout it too.

  • Great vid!! I love your look.

I'm getting rubenesque by the way! :))

  • Thanks! :) I love Rubenesque PP!! Hope you love it too!!

  • You're welcome. :) Aw thanks.

  • Thank-you !
