This is great - doesn't seem that a revival of 'Love you Brisbane' is going to happen - the local identity of Seven appears well and truly lost. At least Nine fully recognises their heritage through a vibrant contemporary localised campaign - Nine for Queensland - showcasing the uniqueness of the South East Queensland lifestyle. .
Well done :) 7 should be ashamed for not supporting our local identities.. i see our mates on wicketywak. com are playing both alternate versions of lub on wak tv at the moment?..... somehow i dont think 7 will ever bring back lub as it would be out of line with thier national programming
One would have to ask Channel 7 Melbourne. They turned 50 in 2006. They got many specials, dedicated to the history of the station.
And got a fully fledged "mini-revival" of their mid-1980's campaign "Hello Melbourne" which came from Frank Gari in the USA.
Why would 7 give preferential treatment to a slogan that was US born for one fiftieth, where as their best (if not greatest) Aussie effort was totally ignored for another 50th...
fantastic promo of ch7 brisbane. I havn't seen this yet but sure has a fantastic red modern 7 symbol. I like the ones with the colour effects of the year 2000 ch7 logo promotions. red guy.. blue guy and many more falling like a fountain below the 7.
Well put together ... pity BTQ7 wouldn't take it up.
