  • Virus Recovery OMGBBQWTF

  • After watching this, my hair all stand

  • You know, I'm all for the whole "After the Mac gets more marketshare, more Viruses will be made for it" and such, but come into reality people - 1 in 5 computers sold today are Macs. Don't you think the virus makers would be making some now? I've gone seven years now without protection, and no virus scares. I just don't see it happening anytime soon, folks.

*prepares self for tons of angry "Ur a mac fanboi" comments*

  • @GavinRoskamp some of the best viruses for macs are ones u cant detect(no av)........... Just thought u would like to know

  • ok leveno sucks i got stupid the battery stopped generating power and now for some reason whenever i unplug the stupid thing the bioscan goes all the way to zero and will not let me open widows and i have not went on any website when this happened plus i did nkot drop i even tried the recovery button does not work sigh no replys to this please i am getting a better computer anyway its a toshiba

  • That is the best fucking advert ive ever seen in my whole entire fucking life.. WOW! where the fuck is my recovery button on my Compaq E500?

  • I have an IBM ThinkPad T40, and I love it :D

  • Could this director have been any more dramatic? I love these spots!

  • It`s chinese!!!!!!!!!!

  • 9 have a thinkpad they rule =D

  • i got a think pad r60e so far it has been aweome lol i use it at school

  • That isn't true. Apple computers have LESS viruses than Windows PCs, but they aren't fully virus free.

  • @Vampirefan the only things tha inffect mac is usuallky porn sites and pirated programs

  • thats because mac isnt the generally used operating system. if it were, the pc's would be less vulnerable... now that mac is doing a revive, they'll soon be the target of the same virusses. especially now that they use intel cpu's

  • Rocks!

  • i got my thinkpad in december last year and like 2 months later it messed up and got filled with viruses...i had no virus protection and when i turned my comp on it kept blinking and showing all these ads i pressed the button and immediately it shut down my laptop and turned it back on and everything was restored....best computer ever.

  • did you use the virus recovery button?

  • but how can a partition of a hard drive unaccessible? viruses can break into anything these days.

  • Quite easily. By making it so that only the computer motherboard can directly access the partition and not even the CPU can. Have a microprocessor dedicated to 'switching' partitions on the hard disk.

  • wow. i never knew that.

  • lol, apples don't have viruses because who wants to make a virus for a computer that barely anybody uses?

  • Idiot...

  • anyone know how did they make the recovering effect

they used any plugin for this , is this possible in any 3d application without plugin?

    plz help if anyone knows

  • it has a very full featured recovery partition, it even lets you recover some or all, try to get some of your data, and more. its not like out of this world genius, but for retarded regualr people or corportations to reduce time spent withIT, its GENIUS

  • the only way they can get that to work completely is if they manage to set up a memory module that holds factory defaults and a copy of the OS that is not affected by malware. Which is pretty much impossible.

  • That´s exactly how it works. A linux based system that manages the recovery system outside the OS

  • There's an internal (hidden) HDD partition that's unaccessable. You use it to restore.

  • that was COOL.

    but, that will never happen

  • How is it false advertising? When a thinkpad is messed up due to virus you cna press that blue ThinkVantage button and your thinkpad will restore back to new factroy state again.

  • omg I can't wait!!! Just ordered teh t60 widescreen!

  • Those are the sorriest examples of false advertising I ever saw.

  • False advertising? I use an IBM ThinkPad and the Access IBM actually does restore the system after a crash. This isn't false advertising, just viewers being ignorant.

  • Yay!
