@TiiM93 Canon only make a full circle for this lens, becase the end of the lens rotates during focusing. The lenses which the end does not rotate during focusing use the petal shape hoods. I think I prefer the full circle lens hoods anyway really
This is a great little lens, i love mine and I have the same hood. Pro tip, when the hood costs $2.50, buy more than one as the hassle of waiting for a new one if you break or loose it is not worth $2.50
I actually love this lens I have 2 of them (One I got for 25$ brand new lol) The reason I like this lens is because I can put it on and just take it anywhere a party, walking around etc and I know its not the best in Quality but to be honest it really is just a matter of a little extra photo-shop and there looking just fine. Nice video, Like always.

lens hoods arent for protection theyre for blocking stray light from coming in the camera. that wont block any.
