@S8OR No. The Tamron 17-35 is a variable aperture lens and not nearly as well made. They are apples and oranges. Still...Tamron and Sigma have decent 17-50mm F/2.8 lenses. I would look at those if you need to save some money.
Thanks for advice man! I need to get some 2.8 lens too. I can already tell You that Tamron 18-270 is great buy. Really nice image quality up to 200m. They could improved AF becouse it's a bit slow... but it is good walk around lens!
@LaczupakabraPL I assumed you would like that lens. These variable aperture long zoom lenses are very nice to use. The large (2.8-1.2) aperture lenses are expensive but just give you more options. I love that Tamron you have! I'll bet it's great!
@a7xwii I have worked with a concrete supplier for 15 years. I am in operations now. I am not liking this line of work and plan to get out SOON. I hope to create my own business with my knowledge of computers, photography, tech. I have always wanted to work for myself. Why do you ask?
I would get a 7d and a 50mm 1.8, then save up for the other lenses if i had to do it all over again.

True its all in the glass. Invest in lens as they will stay with you for years, camera bodies will be upgraded say every 2-3 years. Good advice Nate.
