Good ideas, but the columns could be more detailed, especially on their basis. I find them too quickly cut, these are supposed to look like circles because of their size, even though they are definitely not circles but un square shape. Might be too thin... And I didn't notice that the Khazad-Dûm bridge was directly connected to the great hall : I thought the stairs only led to it.

Sorry, but I don't think we are on the same level ;) I never used world edit and I suppose this is an indispensable tool for project of such size. Also my architectural style is more gothic and on eights than on a wide plan. But where did you get those plans ? I've dl a map of the Moria and counted at least 5 great Halls, etc. I mean, it is absolutely huge... The films are not enough so do you use your imagination or some plans ?

@MrZangarra Well, i have some interesting ideas, yet these are quite complicated to connect with this kind of architecture. I guess my help would be the most efficient if I had to complete details on walls, doors, ceilings, or vaults. I can make complex structures, though these might be closer to a Franc-Maçon style than dwarfs :p But I'm a perfectionist, so I guess letting the big planning for nerds and just enjoying making their great job a bit greater would be the best way for me to help ;)

@Cyberbob182 The mines of moria have been made 80-90% by hand. We used Mcedit to make a big hole in the ground for some of the caves, which then have been made by hand. Else we have used TNT for the caves.

The great hall was actually also made by hand, we have just updated it a lot of times.

Thus, I've dl a Moria map where, in creative mode I've seen the external structure of the project, made with big modules connected to each other, in the very same way some WEdit users would have done... On what kind of maps have you done this one ? Blank or there is nature around, like others worlds ?

@Cyberbob182 It have been made in our main world. So there is normal terrain around it, and some creations some distance away from it.

@TheDanny3450 So then you faced a big problem : the eight. With 128, you cannot do much. I guess your Moria is far away above the 64th level, the sea level, and you had to build a huge mountain around it to hide the structure isn't it ?

@Cyberbob182 yes, the mines goes from the bottom layer to the top layer, so we can't make a mountian over it.

@Zadkhiel92 (when using the command /i 8 you will get water) it is a build server we are running. And I made almost all of it by hand, the great hall was made by hand, some of the rooms was made with a square hole, and then filled with stone or other stuff, to make it look good

Wait a second… the light is at an angle and there is a well in the room at time 7:38 and its suppose to be on the side of the great hall not in the middle from lord of the ring the 3rd age second of all there needs to be lava in the caves by the stairs… missing the place where you go down to the end of the well in the great hall… also at Khazad it goes down till you hit water… just saying… you need a lot of work on it over all completion 4/10
