However, the US government does and a manufacturers model lineup must meet certain maximum fuel consumption and maximum exhaust output or they cannot be imported. That is why the turbo was dropped in the US for the 1980 model year and not reintroduced again until the1986 model year when they able to get it's fuel consumption to meet US standards. Porsche is all about light weight, efficiency along with high performance.

You just can't replace a manual transmission, sure it may shift faster due to the double clutch and all it does is switch which ones on, but that takes away probably more than half of the driving satisfaction of a Porsche. just bought one of these in that darker red like in the video. The gear changes are amazing and this thing presses you against you seat when you barely tap the throttle. Also you can use this every day, the storage isn't bad for a sports car and the headlights work great and are very bright. however, the rear seats are pretty tight and hard to get into. i just use it for extra storage. this is the ultimate driver's car, i highly recommend to anyone who's looking to buy one.
