I have a Gus too, and he couldn't get up the stairs when we first got him. Our other scotty would go up two or three stairs and taunt him while he sat at the bottom crying.

my scottie use to go down the stairs like that but would only get halfway then roly poly down the rest, get up at the bottom and bark his little head off at the stairs!! it was very funny to watch. When he got old he would walk past the stairs and growl at them as if to say "i remember you lot!" LOL lovely little nutter! R.I.P brucie x

haha i like how he doesnt go to the last step, rather he goes between the banister hahaha!! like he thinks the way through the banister is shorter drop than just going down the step!!

i had a male scottie. we got him when he was a little puppy and his ears had not cropped up yet i was id say in kindergarten. he died when i was in 7th grade he was 8 but i read scotties live AT LEAST 11 YEARS but he got sick. im going to be 15 in 2 months. im so alone....i dont think our apartment ppl will let us have a dog...if not at least a cat....hopefully ill get a new friend in a year or 2...i miss my Nash!!!!(that was his name) i even cried the other day cuz we were talking about him T_T
