  • Sounds awesome! Great job on the mods!

  • hello, how do you stretch the swing arm back 4"s?? i would love to do this to my bike.

  • How did you move the swing arm back 4inch and is it a stock swing arm

  • Im buying my first bike ,a kz750 '82 . It hasnt been customized yet but im going to try to copy some of your ideas to work on mine. I have zero experience riding bike nor fixing em but im sure its not that hard. Ill post the videos

  • @callejero60625 Im looking forward yo seeing your vids

  • that fender just doesn't look right

  • where is part 3

  • what exhaust is on that bike i like the sound

  • Beautiful!! I would love to have something like that. I usually don't like stretched tails, mostly on sportbikes, but a stretched tail on a standardish bike looks great! Stance is awesome.

  • I know what you mean, when they do it on a sportbike, it seems ridiclous, maybe cause they usually add a fat tire, and the stretch is so long. I try and keep thing s reasonable or "low key", actually "tasteful is the word Im lookin for.

  • Tasteful is good.

  • Stretching the back was a good idea . When you sat on the bike it had a real nice stance to it. Nice one.

  • I love Kawasakis, someone needs to teach me how to kick start a bike, I think only guys can do it

  • Is that a stock tank?

  • yes it is

  • Did you have to do any jetting to the carbs with the added pipes and what looks to be aftermarket air filters? If so, where were you able to find a jet kit, or what exactly did you do to this application? Thanks and the bike looks good!

  • Sorry, had nothing to do with that. That is the way the bike rolled in...................runs pretty good, but it is definity running "rich".]

Thanks for taking the time to comment.

  • Hey there, Nice little bike.

Out of curiosity, how tall are you?

Found a KZ for sale, never seen one in the flesh ( im a tall guy!!)

Thanks in advance. I love that swingarm mod, very cool way of stretching (seems alot less complicated than stretching the swingarm itself)

  • Im 6'2"....................................Bike is little small for me as you can see from the vid. The guy who owns the bike, is about 5'8". It works out good for him. If it was mine I would put forward controls on it so my feet would be farther out. Thanks for taking the time to comment, and please subscribe to my channel if it interest you. I have a new bike going together shortly.

  • I was following this build. Didnt like where it was going, but I like where it ended up. Hope those plates you put in were nice n beefy!

    Cheers!

  • o yea i will specialy wen its done

  • r u gonna post some videos, I d like to see your chop.

  • i just cut the mufflers off the pipes on mine, pipes go back only to under the motor prolly kinda short, gona length em, scariest part of chopin bike was cuttin the front part (but with the backbone) of the frame off, looked bad but got it back together ok with a 5" rise

  • What kinf of pipe is that it sounds good is it a Vance or a keker?

  • It s a Kirker, took the baffles out......its loud as hell!

  • how do you go about taking the baffles out? Does it hurt performance wise?

  • Nice job Jim. Can't wait to see more.

  • Not sure how much more we are gonna do to this one, Im waiting on the owner to drop off headlight, tail light and some directionals. We'll put those on and maybe clean it up a little. Check back soon, I have a H-D softail, with my drop seat conversion, going together soon.

  • The bike looks very good, but does the rear tire rub after going over bumps, because it looks very tight to the fender with a rider on it......?

  • Not yet.......I've only ridden it around the industrial park. I have about 3 1/2" between the top of the tire and the bottom of the fender. It should be adequate, but if not we will have to make some adjustments. No big deal. Thanks for your input I appreciate it.

  • Love the video, Jim. The bike looks great. Your feature article on the "21" bike in Barnett's Magazine is on newstands and Barnes & Noble now. Came out great.

  • thanks a bunch................you did a great job. " Jim Shadler plays his hand at 21".................outstanding. That thing about my name being spelt wrong was great......my family and friends will get a kick out of that. Thank you. Tell Buck, in reference to the Affliction article..........The guy who owns that bike got a real kick out of "Perscription for an Affliction". Turns out his daughter is a pharmacist, and he has two other kids in Pharmacy school. Funny stuff. Thanks again.
