The QWERTY remote is not 100% responsive with the UN55D6900 model. Funny because it came with the TV.

What i don't like is:

-Samsung creates innovative TVs that have these ideal abilities but are far from perfect.

-Samsung Smart TVs do NOT have a wide variety of apps. Most are Useless.

-YOUTUBE OF ALL APPS! Limited and does NOT have the keyboard punch option!!

-Samsung does NOT frequently upgrade apps (allshare)

-If you CAN'T make apps properly, hire other parties that specialize in them.

I couldn't get the keyboard side of the remote to work with really any of the apps (Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, etc). Just for their weird, useless for me, search bar. I just can't fathom why they haven't added that functionality (yet).

The YouTube app is useless. Doesn't allow selection of the best resolution on the video being watched. Have to do it through the tv's browser, navigate to YouTube, select the video, and select the desired resolution. Then, the cursor goes haywire!!!???

Paid over 1800 for a 55 in 8000 series. This remote is short of being called GARBAGE!. You tube browsing is worthless as each character must be typed one by one. All that technology and they could add an eraser type or small touchpad to the remote to make it more functional. I'm looking now at just using a regular mouse and keyboard thanks to this useless remote.

OK! Finally! I have been running back 'n' forth from the TV to the computer to look up answers and solve problems. This is MOST ANNOYING!

For the amount of money we paid for the TV, it should definitely have included a detailed user manual!!! A book..... not the few pages we received with the TV.

For crying out loud! The TV does so much and we want to learn how to use it!!

It's much easier to learn if you're standing in front of the TV and reading as you go along.

@rhyne222 To activate the keyboard for youtube apps you hold the @ key while holding your breath for 15 seconds then after you see the message on your TV saying Keyboard activated you hold the SYM botton and tap your head about 10 times or until you see a flashing message on your remote...

FFS that's why I'm buying a LED vizio and connecting it to my PC... Watch T.V. by using PIP. I think the whole wifi n app on ur tv thing is all a big gimmick that's overdue.

Just got the 7000 series 46 inch with 240hz refresh rate and all I can day is AMAZING. I recommend this tv to the 1080p fans out there that want super clear LED liquid display. The movements from shows on this tv are so realistic. The tv also has a smart hub web browser, and you can also download apps like YouTube on it. Amazing tv. Just amazing.

It works good but I had a hard time syncing it with my TV. I finally got it to work by pressing SMART HUB on the QWERTY remote after pressing SYM + TAB after the TV has been turned on for 30 seconds.

Search for "Virtual keyboard for Smart TV" on Youtube and you may be able to search for video and movies easily even using regular remote control with your smart TV.

Why not have additional support for a regular keyboard and mouse? I would be excellent then! Currently, I prefer connect my PC to the TV and use it for browsing the web because it just much easier then fiddling with remote.
