  • I agreed with you Soundlift!

  • trance for life and trance for breath and stfu !!!!! and soundlift is one of my fav dj

  • 2:10 !!! BOOOOOBSS :D

  • Comment removed

  • Second Blueman :) Good track bro . Greetings from Poland !

  • thank you so much great sound, and what a great way to get a down load of vibrations into my spirit~) so that i can go on creating! wow

  • Totally agreed...

  • you are absolutely right!

But don't forget most people on this planet do not care about music, they just listen to whatever is cool and popular, same goes for the artists: Hey I want to be a popstar so I can be rich and famous!

But for me, Trance for Life!

  • It's simple, the good people chose the good music.

  • <3

  • That's what i have been saying to my friends:).. I hope there are more people like you that can really understand music and make good tracks. all kind of music never reached trance even a little bit. trance is the best:)

  • @nyaha200 +1 here mate !

  • Say whatever you want, but good music is a good music!

  • Lets collab ;) You're post is spot on and couldn't agree with it more.

  • Trance Is Not In Club

Trance Is On The Nature Earth.

  • @APoLovesTRance yes, I hate clubs because they contain licentious people, drugs, alchool, that's places is hell, is a shit. Trance is air, is life ... is ...sensitive. 1 vote from me :)

  • sweet part at 2:20

  • how people get rich from making shit music is because hip-hop is disdained like a drug to get people addicted. it uses repetitive beats. same thing such as binural beats aka elector-acoustic its designed to manipulate the mind to put people in trances. death-core has been popular as well. reason to why some people like it when music becomes extremely aggravated to them. i live on uplifting trance mus.

  • 2 things . Money makes the world go round and Social media Like facebook/Google/Youtube have in my opinion hurt EDM more then it has helped it. As for Pedro, Countinue on making Uplifting and stay true to Trance =)

  • Excellent post, Right to everything you say is completely true, people now want to see as black Mikos with guetta and worst of all is that they think is the best world music producers and dj's and unfortunately you do not have the spotlight that have deveria, Merry Christmas and I hope you continue to produce as before.

  • estamos contigo Soundlift

  • I have goose bumps when listening to SoundLift songs.

Night clubs and parties got killed by shitty musics here, this is unfortunately because of mass media and crap such as facebook.com that gives the opportunity to idiots to show how cool they are when they are completely uninteresting. This is not where I have discovered SoundLift and this is surely not where I would be looking for cool artists as well as for scientific documentations ;)

    Keep making awesome beats!

  • Pedro, you are the " real " MASTERMIND. Love your songs. in few days i travel to portugal sit down on the beach near Melides and enjoy your incredible sound. Keep up the fantastic work!!!

  • Exactly!! Be yourself no matter what!!

  • TRANCE MUSIC =TRUE INSPIRATION

    We dont need 1,000,00000000000000000000000 views

    We dont need $

We dont have to get naked

And we dont need the paparazzi

~ to promote real music genres we need creative minds !

  • From what i read in the comments: apparently if your quitting "uplifting" or "trance" for somethign out ur a sellout..hmm. Apparently House music nowadays is... disgusting?? Hmm, you know the saying "one man's garbage is another man's treasure"?. Alright If you dont like prog/trance/house fine, ur own choice, but dont state that its "disgusting" as a "FACT" ur OPINIONS ARENT FACTS. Your just about the most close minded people i've seen -_-.

  • this song its not available for purchase or download?

  • spot on!

  • 2 maximaOfficial:It is not "people will like what they want" it is the overkill of prog-trance that influences what ppl brought to these changes, look at DI.fm Trance Channel, diehard listeners complaining about the to much prog-trance.. Only the wednesday's are still trance with True To Trance & TranceStoned incl Recoverworld show & John Askew's show... Say 100 times to your self: I'm mad! after 100 times you believe you are mad... Influences!!

  • It was the overkill over the Prog-Trance what did bring Trance to close to the Progressive-minimal area, never forget the influences of prog-trance. Other point, the prog-minimal went close to the progressive-trance. It's now or never to stimulate young talent uplifting producers, to keep them at uplifting trance, to help and support. Let the prog-trance producers sleep further about their financial advantage dreams. I'm most poor Uplifting Trance DJ in the scene but rich of passion!

  • (Continued) I believe that people have the right to listen/do what they want, and that we should only judge our own actions. But still, I do agree that for the most part 'most' people are unable to appreciate the complexity of true uplifting trance. The popular people (such as well known DJ's etc) will attempt to go somewhat mainstream, mainly for money motivation. But for me, music is just about that - the music. Money is just a nice indicator that people enjoy your music you worked hard on.

  • Pedro, yes I do overall agree with your statements. I am an upcoming uplifting producer that has been producing for awhile, yet it's very hard to get anything out there because labels seem to want to focus more on mixing rather than melodic content. It is sad to see trance popularity shift from uplifting to progressive, but there's not really much that can be done about it, people will like what they want.

  • I spend a lot of my freetime to coaching & helping new comming talent producers on Uplifting Trance. I have the prime-time Radioshows on the Mainstream (TranceStoned on DI.fm, Tranced Emotion on Trance.FM, TranceAction on DiscoverTrance, Balearic Sphere on PureSound and newst show on French stream: Trance2impact on Quadratur Web-Radio. All garanty 100% Pure Trance, for these new producers the challenge to be part of these shows.I'm mostly available to give new talent possibility to breakthrough.

  • Good busy! SoundLift! I'm fighter aswell to keep Uplifting and Balearic Trance alive and pure as it alway's was. I see it as low lazy creative when producers uses Progressive Trance rhythm, effects and basslines in Uplifting or Balearic Trance.

The overkill of Progressive-Trance have destroid many big Trance Events like Trance Energy.

OK, I'm critical at promo reviews, but it's my personal war against these ... brb Progressive Trance influences.

  • I have to agree fully with you Soundlift thats why I personally lost like 25% of my love for trance when Andy Blueman quit producing you and a few others are keeping it alive for me SOUNDLIFT KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK AND AWESOME TRACKS!!!!! LOVES YA MUCH PEDRO <3

  • This is better than your newer stuff, nobody makes music like this anymore sadly this is old fashioned

  • Soundlift, I agree. In my country there's a single electronic radio station. I won't name it but they always play shit music and because of that people who tune in think the worst of the EDM. Too many "artist" have change their style in order to sell more, that's the sad reality.

  • good opinion dude i understand completely

  • You are absolutely right about what you said.... Everything is so focused on process of making money, instead of developing the real talent

  • 6 people are stupid guetta fans!

  • 100 % true! The radio stations killed music diversity! They only promote one genre! The most disgusting! Back in 80s, 90s, on the same radio station, you could listen many different genres! Today, all stations are alike!

  • Well yes, i'm with you Soundlift, I think a lot of people think they're producer when they only know how to open FL STUDIO or Cubase and the effect clarity is the quality ... Now we all have a lot's more of resources than 10 years ago and we don't use this very good. People like you or Hoyaa make's the good music ... But another's only think about money and like you said, drugs. This world isn't made for music my friend, i'm with you Soundlift. Eternal life to Trance

  • Hey Soundlift u make a good new tune after the release of ur album i masking about the release of this tune !!

  • I'm 10000000% agree with you! U've just told things, all the things - that i've been thinking about for the last 2-3 years. Everythig really changed lost it's soul and became too POP, i really smilewhen remembering our small partys and talks about what is really matter with people who cared!

  • btw if you check the "trance & progressive" facebook, you can see a lot of crappy progressive trance, just comercial shit, your video makes me think on that page made by that "dj" ange, who make controversial posts and when she can handle a conversation she miss the point replying with a nonsense.

  • agree Mr Soundlift, also nice track!.miss the gold days back in 2000.

  • With different types of music there is good and bad. The same

with different types of people. We should take the good songs and

use them on a positive note. I listen to certain trance songs cuz they

are uplifting and invigorating. In this life you have a choice. But ,yeah,

you have to be watchful of those who try to influence you the wrong

way. Ask God, search, read and find the truth.

  • that's why I don't like discos :) I prefear to stay at home and listen tou yor music

  • Sounds like you need to take your own advice. Don't worry about other people; don't worry if people like music that you don't; don't worry if people make different decisions than you. You are only in control of yourself, and the best you can do is what you think is best. Peace and love, trancer.

  • @simex909 I don't need to follow my own advise, i'm like this and i'm not going to change, i'm just expressing my opinion about what i think of today's EDM, Many people have changed style to get gigs and sign tracks, proabably tracks that they don't even like.I'm not afraid of saying but you're free to disagree of course.I would like to see people changing their style to a better way of doing music, the problem is that they change to worse.

  • @SoundLift What you call "a better way" is a different way. I personally like your tracks, but don't you think there are people out there who think you're doing it wrong? People who don't like uplifting trance often say that there's not enough bass, or the drums are too far back in the mix. People who like uplifting trance think that other music doesn't have enough melodic content, and too much bass and drums. Who is right? No one. It's not an issue of better or worse, just taste.

  • @SoundLift what is the real name of this track ?

  • Absolutely feel your message! I have been lucky that i have not been too into the so called "mainstream" music, as i have been raised up with "underground" music such as italo disco, european dance and golden classics like The carpenters that my parents played when i was young. I came to love trance at a late time at 2003 and was never really into songs (save for a few) that was being broadcasted on the radios. Now 18 I kinda miss the old days.

I love your style in music and wish you the best!

  • whoah!

  • What's the tracking playing over the video?

    Excellent :)

  • @CrikC I'd say: SoundLift - The Message is the title

  • I've now watched this vid pedro 10 times the more i watch the more sense it makes people ripping the artist who has to invest in new equipment to further their careers and make money to feed there families i have spoke in private with you in the past hope i have picked this up right but from myself you are right you do the work they get the money

  • @TonnyNesse calm down, you sound like an blind fanfag.

  • @TheSanil92 Dude, what this guy is saying is 100% right. Show some respect.

  • @TheSanil92 how does a blind fanfag sound like? u have to be more specific. is that the sound u make when your dad touches you?

  • You should put tiesto in the video! lol

  • @Akis643 Tiesto has actually done more for trance than you would imagine, without Tiesto trance would be underground music. He know how to mix and dj, he can produce trance, its just that he wants to explore other styles so stfu.

  • @TonnyNesse - ...101% true... ♥

  • @TonnyNesse you mean tiesto's producer,he doesn't produce.

  • @Seneta0fficial Ya, people think Tiesto actually produces songs...

Tiesto is just a dj,making cash with other people's songs and now turned to house and R & B because gives more money. Geert_Huinink is the guy that produced a lot of Tiesto's tracks, like the album Parade Of Athletes, check wikipedia.

Do you think that a guy with 3 or more gig per week can produce music? He needs to sleep to be in good shape, and the image is very important in this business.

  • @SoundLift You know your shit m8 :) I agree with you. These days its not about good music,if you make good music you won't get gigs! its all about fanbase!! more likes on facebooke ect..

  • @TonnyNesse I know tiesto better than u.. used to be one of tiesto's best fans! He got me into the scene, I got all his cd,s and see him live 10 times. He is worst than them for leaving trance, ignoring all his fans and being an hip hop & house artist! SO SHUT YOUR FUCKIN HOLE! Explore other styles my ass, he has just become a fuckin sellout!

  • @Akis643 I started following Tiesto in 1997, when I discovered the forbidden paradise cd's. I have allways been excited when he released something new, cant say I care much for his new music. Are u gonna get mad at Tiesto for doing something new? U wanna decide what tiesto cant do or not? He has done shitloads for the trance scene, he doesnt owe people anything. You thought tiesto was gonna produce trance until he was 70 years???? Get a life. And a brain.

  • @TonnyNesse /watch?v=QzP8-riRp7g WATCH @ 5:30 DOUCHE! ''Trance music is boring'' 10 years later... Of course I care when someone who have produced the best remixes ever and tunes like flight 643 and lethal industry now collaborates with r'n'b acts and making one cheese after another and you go to see him live and plays adagio for strings and traffic in 128 bpm to mach with all the bullshit electro! It's like being a fan of Iron Maiden and they start making pop tunes!lol GET A BRAIN

  • great video and word pedro, nothing is chaining me, i love the trance i play and soon to create, and have done for a VERY Long Time from around 92 i started listening to trance, 20 years later, i am still here, Still listing to the best of trance!

  • Yeap I like it!!!!! Soundlift just rules!!!!

  • soundlift i love you now!!!!! u think the same way i think man

  • whole truth about today's world, you're absolutely right

  • You're right Pedro¡¡¡

  • This is true but... I've meditated on this subject for a long time: people don't have as much interest in music as us, real trance lovers or any other pure music fan... It's their choice, we can't change their mind and we don't have to anyway... The problem is that a lot of non-connoisseurs thinks they are and they try to make everyone thinks that POP music is the best music on earth, which is not technically speaking.

  • @meparadis In a long term thinkin, its better making music for ourselves and keep it underground, cause as it happened hundreds of times.... evertime a type of music went less underground, the true essence of its style started drifting away and became a "shitty music" until all the buzz around this style got replaced by another style of music... that's exactly what's happening with trance nowadays... its the beggining of the end my friend, we've entered a new era and we can't go back...

  • @meparadis But true real trance lovers will be there forever....

  • @meparadis If you make music for fame & money, you definitely don't do it for the good reasons... its sad to hear but music should NEVER be made in order to make any amount of money.... if people are willing to pay for it... then its all good... but NEVER EVER start producing a track with the thoughts of making even a small amount of money... do it for yourself only!!!

  • go go pedro you all have a case here and valid points unite as one take all on board and keep-dancing just say no to drugs in any form !!!

  • Pedro, you've summed it up perfectly dude. But, the things you've got to remember, is people like different music. Wrong music, no doubt. I am absolutely loving the creations that you come up with, and I'll support the independent producers, DJ's, etc all day and night, purely because they experiment. You, as a prime example.

You look at Guetta, SHM, etc,. Copy, paste, faster, sell it as a new song. Not for the music, just the money.

Don't change dude, your music is on the dot, 100% of the time.

  • @jakeo77 Yes, i agree 100% on that, i'm not blaming pop music, because i like pop, rock, chillout, etc,and i respect all kind of music and people, but the music these guys do, is far way from pop music. Like i said, a good example of pop is Keane, with people that can sing, can play piano and drums and perform that music live, that's music!! What these guys produce is not music, it's comercial garbage.Good music travels in time, this comercial crap is just popular in the moment.

  • @SoundLift The simple thing to remember is this: You shouldn't worry about them. They'll grow old VERY quickly, where as the people in it for the MUSIC not the dollar will be sitting there laughing at the state these people will be in. And they WILL be in that state sooner or later.

If you're making music for the money, you're not pouring your heart and soul into it, simple as that.

  • Comment removed

  • This is true. I agree

  • Es la puta verdad! the fuckin' true. La música y el mundo están podridos actualmente, hay que cambiarlo de una vez. It's time for change the horrible comercial world!

  • Wow loved the track the moment i turned it on, amazing! I understand your frustration that these people are called artists by making throwing some beat with smack my bitch vocals on top. However i think you should be happy with your gift and keep making this great music. There are enough people out there that really love your work.

  • How people act is not determined by the content of the music. If they are influenced by the music then they are weak minded and need help. Most of those people would drink and do drugs regardless of music or not. And, again, many Trancers get high/drunk. It's not just Pop fans. I really wish people would stop blaming things on Pop music alone... it's not the music. It's the people. btw, nice tune.

  • @MeltingCORE2 The people on the video make generic copy pasted music with auto-tune singers. Pop music is something like keane, avril lavigne etc. Everybody has the right to do the music the way they want, i just found interesting that this kind of music is more well known. Actually David Guetta and his friends from SHM can´t even mix to be considered dj's. So why they get so much money for doing nothing?

  • @SoundLift Actually, I last saw an interview of David Guetta in which he said "I can even mix two records at the same time!". So he thinks he can mix, not that it makes him any better.

I think most people are just too simple-minded to understand or like the more complex genres in music (like trance, drum and bass, progrock, etc.). Thats why the crap that's in the charts nowadays makes so much money.

  • Soundlift, dude, I love your music and I support you by actually buying your music but something about this video really bugs me... You can't say people don't understand a shit about music because that's a opinion, not a fact. I hate to break it to you but many people think Trance music is shit because it's 'eight minutes of beeps'. If your speaking about Pop music in this video, it gets the same flak as Trance and I find it really sad. All music is real music.

  • The message is honest, and from the heart.

  • I'll start by saying love the track, nevertheless you must realize that different kind of people like different kind of music, you can't make people like one particular gender of music. And for the video, people like to enjoy themselves, party etc., you can't just say it is wrong for them to have fun, get drunk or whether to take drugs or not, they can decide for themselves what is right or what is wrong, and based on their decisions they will face the consequences whether it is good or bad

  • @xtiger357 Drugs killed the reputation of trance music. In my country, people think that to enjoy trance you need drugs. These guys on the video destroyed the EDM scene, you can't listen to a decent radioshow. When i turn the radio on, i just listen to this disgusting music, there is no decent pop rock in radio stations, they prefer to play this. I remember the days back in 2000,2001 when radios used to play natalie imbruglia, nickelback, dire straits, eric clapton, pink floyd and so on.

  • @SoundLift Yes I agree that radio plays terrible songs, but they play what their target market wants. Sadly many of the people who listen to the radio don't consider songs on it to be "bad". You can see the evidence of this on youtube, how much views these artists get, and when you and I might think it is garbage, other people disagree. Radio wants to profit just like any business, and they play what can bring them more revenue.
