Almost everybody is a champion, this is worser than my backyard wrestling. You call that a great match, c'mon proboly they all have the belts becuase they wine if they dont have a belt. My backyard wrestling, we have to beat the contestants and earn our way to the top, then fight for the belt. Not like this people
@elrefugioslp1 We have added an annotation to the beginning of this video explaining the problem and noting that it has been fixed. This match was taped over five years ago. Since then, we have learned from our mistake and reduced the number of titles in our feds. We would prefer this match to be remembered for its wrestling, good or bad, rather than the issue with the number of belts.
I agree with all the comments stating that this match has too many belts. This was a problem that started when the MSW guys (with their titles) came into the XWF, which had all their titles as well. Now, we usually only allow MSW belts to be carried in MSW to avoid situations like this.
yeah, and ive seen HHH's missed knee drop, and scott steiner's fall off of the apron, and vince mcmahon tear both quads all because he entered the ring incorrectly... point is, nobody is perfect. this is just about entertainment and having fun. nobody said we were pro or perfect.
i see ur guys's fake punches, the guy in the iverson jeresey you could tell the punches were fake, and when who ever rammed the guy into the table at the beginning, the guy like stoped half way so he barley hit the table, make it look more realistic, but good moves
dis is kl guys i dont like to be out of order to da rest of u but da kid in DX jersy was sick he kiked ass and who was da 1 who kept screaming he killed it
TLC matches are spot matches, I know your exactly professionals, but this needs to be a lot cleaner and concise. Half the time it looks like you have an ending planned and are just waiting for it to happen.
Thanks! I do appreciate criticism as long as it's constructive, which it is in this case. I do agree to an extent, much like WWE's TLC matches are more planned out, the same could have been done to make the match flow a bit better. There's always room for improvement, and this is a good idea that I'll try to do when we have our next TLC match at Starrcade. Thanks again!
I'm not sure who all will be in our TLC match, so I can't really do that at the moment. Once we get our final roster and get them all together the morning of the show, we may have them all meet and work out some of the bigger spots and general pacing so everyone is on the same page. I appreciate the offer though! Any tips on how to best pace a TLC match?
i disagree about the trampoline. i mean, to make this short, why would you slam your opponent on a shock absorbed giant pad?? of course its not all real. we try to make sense of this w/o getting to technical. i just cant watch 2 kids jumping on a trampoline wrestling. i have no interest because i know there is no risk. and im not saying were good or were "wrestler's" (cause were not) we do this simply for fun, and thats all. (.p.s. im the short/skinny kid with the dx jersey! lmao!)
If you don't mind a belt that's smaller than pro belts, Jakks WWE toy belts are pretty good and quite cheap. We use them for our Tag Team Title. I've never made a good belt from scratch, so I can't really help you much there, but you might be able to find some ideas online. Sonblock dot net has an interesting method.
You can get them from toy stores, but you can also get them online, though they'll usually be more expensive online. Various sites such as WWE Shopzone, Highspots, and Ringside Collectibles sell them, plus you can find them on Ebay. The Toys R Us site also has some of them right now for $10.99 each, which is about how much they are in stores.
My best advice is to be original, both in the name and presentation of the fed and the various wrestlers. For example, Mid-South Wrestling is a unique name for a backyard wrestling fed, not something you see a lot of feds have. A good setup and arena are always good, but your first priority should be a quality show. Pick something that makes you stand out from everyone else and emphasize it, and don't let things distract you from the main reason to have a backyard fed, which is to have fun!
I agree, a bigger backyard would help us out. We actually moved to a bigger backyard for our last show, and we'll probably use that from now on. As for music, it's very difficult to find a Jim Johnston type to make a good variety of original music, so we just have to use real songs for the most part. Thanks for the comment!
awsome

Just give me bios and styles and what you have to work with and I could do it.

Are the Jakks belts flexable, like the real belts, or are they stiff?
everysixseconds 4 years ago
The straps are made of foam, so they're not as flexible as real belts.
