@govols74 Lived in Knoxville for 14 years. Saw circle drill and UT's pregame many a time. While perhaps more traditional, the Splitting of the T doesn't compare so Script Ohio. Circle drill is much more difficult than Script, but not as traditional, as it is not done every pregame as the T and Script are.

more like TBDCBITL. The best damn college band in the land. The top 20 bands at Grand Nationls could destroy OSU. (Yes, i am from ohio) This is a show band. There is very little attention to actual musicality. Just crowd pleasing.

For a fair comparison, give a Grand National Band a new show and give them a week to practice then perform. Then give them another, and another, and do that 8 times in about 12 weeks. Oh yeah, then take time out for other performances, recording sessions, and full time student status at tOSU. TBDBITL memorizes all of the music they play. Some are music majors and will be teaching your children how to play an instrument. The others are graded at the music major level as well. Talented musicians!
