The first time I heard Howie play I thought "Finding Howie MacDonald's music is like finding the Hope Diamond in a gold mine." Of all musicians I would most like to hear Andrea Beaton and Troy Macgillivray going back and forth on piano and fiddle blazing red hot reels. Driving home today I was thinking how much I missed Cape Breton Live like this tune from show 44. I thought of sending Andrea an email asking her to post her playing on Youtube. The Leprechaun must have heard . Hooray!
