I am quite disappointed with both the song and the video. The song is just a simple pop song like so many other bands perform and the video is probably the least inspired thing ever released by the Manics (although, I know, they had no input on it). I actually agree with you, and I'm a real veteran nutter for these guys! Definitely not like their old stuff, and the lyrics mean nothing at all to me. TIMTTMY is a damn good album (esp If You Tolerate This...), I just think that SATT is much better because it's much more raw and simple, and if you fell in love with the old Manics then it's better. It's so obvious you don't know why you didn't think of it, but it's still absolutely brilliant and original and blows me away unlike most of TIMTTMY.

As I think I've commented elsewhere, THB is the best, but as an album that doesn't make you want to dig a hole and die in it EMG is pretty good too.
