I started riding at 12 and obviously didn't have the money to buy parts myself until I was 16. I'm 24 now, I take it easy these days. Picked up a 26" dirt jumper and hit the trails on the weekends. My wrists can't handle bmx anymore

I tried to get back to my competitive level a few times but never really got it back. I still have my 2000 DK S.O.B. (the last bike I ever got) I ride it sometimes I'm 31 years old today

@timdobb That's awesome! I loved the DK S.O.B, had one myself actually. By the time was 15 I was better than average but not pro when it came to dirt. The city decided to tear down our jumps and fence it off after 3 years. After that my riding sort of went downhill. 5 years ago the city rebuilt the trails and now support bmx/mountain biking. Trails and bike parks are popping up everywhere which is why I picked up a 26er and got back into jumping.

Sucks growing up doesn't it? lol.
