For the foreigners: this is a summer feast performed in a village (Spelonga) of Marche region in Italy, commemorating their taking place to the Lepanto battle against the Turkish invasions, with their own vessel under Venice's alliance.
You may see in the top of the tree long some 25/30 meters (towed by hand from the mountains) the Turkish flag captured during the battle.
Inside the local church you can still see the original one, what emotion!!!
