  • excellent...i am thinking about buying a 999 !

are your valve adjusting videos applicable for the 999 aswell ?

  • @Motobias : the general concept of how to adjust the valves is the same in our valve adjustment video and on the Testastretta powered 999/749 family. Buy the original Ducati service manual and you will be ok.

  • question: when you checked the frequency on the timing belt, you noted that you saw 112 or so. In the video, the numbers were moving so fast that I couldnt read that. I suppose it is easier to read in person, and that probably just doesnt come through in the video, is that correct?

  • @kevweez : yes, is not easy to see. It helps if you do not have fluorescent lights on saturating the room with 60 hz, too.

  • I have a Ducati 749 and I'm trying to change the oil and oil filter but I don't know what kid of oil and oil filter I need for that, can anyone tell me the name of the oil and oil filter please and also can anyone tell me what kind of specific tool I need for that...i would appreciated...

  • @psychicmind01 : see our oil change video. That is the same for 749 and the S2R 800 in that video. This video, while it shows a 749, is about belt tension, not oil.
