Really love this performance, Rachel is just outstanding in Wicked! at the moment her contract is until december 10th, so i'd really recomend seeing her live in action, blew me away when i saw her as Elphaba in december! They may have said she 'cant connect with the material' she certainly can now in Wicked! She was in tears when i saw her perform 'For Good', 'Defying Gravity' and 'Im Not That Girl', so emotional!
She reminds me of Lauren in Over The Rainbow. So professional, and such a flawless voice, yet just didn't get the votes. You really need to have the likability factor in these shows - Jodie epitomizes that. So glad Rachel's doing well though! x

Cabaret has finished it's run in London and is on tour so I doubt that will happen now!!! I'd love to see her as Sally Bowles one day but I am so pleased she is playing Meat. She was so amazing and throughly deserve every sucess that comes her way!!!

I just think though from the missions we've seen, Rachel is a fantastic actress, however they only show the missions in the results show, the judges see them but they don't know, so I think that the public should be able to see the missions as well, then they can vote for their favourite Nancy based on not only her performance but on her mission too lol although that's only my opinion XD

After Rachel left, I wasn't fussed who won out of Jessie n Jodie. Watched the final n felt totally justified in thinking how undeserving Sam has been of Nancy. Her Singing In The Rain was so dull compared to Jodie n Jessie's respective duets.

Quality performance. Rachel would have been a great Nancy. From the tiny clips of the acting tasks we are shown, it's obvious that Rachel could have shown a darker, and yes, edgier and rawer side to Nancy.
How come Zoe Tyler isn't judging this series? She could atleast give some valid opinions on technique and things. I love this show! Jodie to win now Rachel has been unfarely voted off.

Hi dobbydo36 - I would think that they had Sam in their sights a long time ago and from what ALW said about 'thinking about what Cameron wants for this show', yes, Cameron would've influenced ALW's decision. The final is, in theory, down purely to public vote.
But both the BBC & ITV have recently been accused of fixing TV votes. If Sam wins, no one is going to believe it was public opinion.

FANTASTIC!!!! This was a winning performance she had me hooked all the way through that song and i had the biggest smile on my face. she stole the show...and yet she got the boot!!!! shocking!!! totally unjust, she outsang the other girls and then some. Ok, this is a great performance, but I completely disagree with the judge (can't remember who) that said it was original and she made it her own. This is a complete copy of Liza Minelli, and it's just not as good (which it wouldn't be, Liza was iconic in that role). I've always felt kind of bored when watching Rachel, for some reason I just never connect with what she is saying. She still should have been saved over Sam though.

helena sung this on the maria show, and that one WAS exactly like the original, except not as good as either that or rachel's version. if you watch the other two again you get some perspective.
It is an absolute disgrace that Rachel was not saved over samantha, who is completely emotionless, her acting in the mission was sooooo crap, she was just saying the lines. I wanted her out weeks ago and now she has been saved over rachel who should have been the winner. I wont be going to see the show anyway. obviously AWL wants the show to be rubbish.
It really is absolutely disgraceful that Rachel will not be in the final! I am genuinely very angry with ALW for saving Sam over Rachel, particularly when you consider that Sam actually got the lowest votes.

Quality performance. Rachel would have been a great Nancy. From the tiny clips of the acting tasks we are shown, it's obvious that Rachel could have shown a darker, and yes, edgier and rawer side to Nancy.

I think Rachel is amazing. I have never in my life seen any1 so good and genuine. I started crying when she was crying.
Her performance was phenomenal and i will certainly never forget it.
She left the show on a high and definately didnt deserve to leave.
I think i cried about 3 litres of tears.
She is my Nancy and always will be =)

..ok she loved herself and took herself to seriously but she would have made a fantastic nancy! she can sing dance and act and would have been fantastic on stage but because she isnt as funny and charectoristic as the others say jodie and jessie or as pretty as sam she got voted off all becasue ALW fancies sam !

Hi dobbydo36 - I would think that they had Sam in their sights a long time ago and from what ALW said about 'thinking about what Cameron wants for this show', yes, Cameron would've influenced ALW's decision. The final is, in theory, down purely to public vote.
But both the BBC & ITV have recently been accused of fixing TV votes. If Sam wins, no one is going to believe it was public opinion.
Have either Jodie or Jessie ever been in the bottom 2? Can't remember.

No they haven't been in the bottom 2. I like it from 1:05 but before that it wasn't a Nancy performance. I think she could have won this is she hadn't been as cocky as she was but I didn't like her personality. I didn't realise she said I'm going like Rachel until someone pointed it out (hmm, cockiness maybe??) What does it say usually when she said that bit?? Jessie to win. x

Elsie - this wasn't the full version of the song, usually she tells a bit of a story a about a girl called elsie, so it makes a bit more sense.

FANTASTIC!!!! This was a winning performance she had me hooked all the way through that song and i had the biggest smile on my face. she stole the show...and yet she got the boot!!!! shocking!!! totally unjust, she outsang the other girls and then some. Andrew was thinking with his pecker when he chose Samantha.
Rachel is going to be a star in the west end...she deserves to be.

I really don't like that type of music, but even though I didn't like that song, its pretty obvious that this performance was absolutely outstanding. She was better than Sam this week and didn't deserve to leave. However, I'm glad Sam was saved- I think she would make a really different Nancy. It would be nice to see a fresh talent, someone really raw and spirited.
I think Jessie should have gone this week. She would be brilliant after a year of drama school.Now she cracks under pressure.

Ok, this is a great performance, but I completely disagree with the judge (can't remember who) that said it was original and she made it her own. This is a complete copy of Liza Minelli, and it's just not as good (which it wouldn't be, Liza was iconic in that role). I've always felt kind of bored when watching Rachel, for some reason I just never connect with what she is saying. She still should have been saved over Sam though.

have you watched the original recently? this couldnt get much more different without completely changing the song. she's not trying to copy liza minelli, she's just getting into the character, it's called acting.
helena sung this on the maria show, and that one WAS exactly like the original, except not as good as either that or rachel's version. if you watch the other two again you get some perspective.

It is an absolute disgrace that Rachel was not saved over samantha, who is completely emotionless, her acting in the mission was sooooo crap, she was just saying the lines. I wanted her out weeks ago and now she has been saved over rachel who should have been the winner. I wont be going to see the show anyway. obviously AWL wants the show to be rubbish.
