She was only 18 I believe when she recorded this! She didn't hear her cue to come out on stage and the band had to vamp for a little bit. That part isn't on the recording you hear here. This is nice to have on youtube. Thanks!

I've been in love with this performance since I bought the vinyl new as soon as it came out. It NEVER gets old. This is the height of cool. But check out "The Telephone Song" on Getz A Go Go". She does such a wonderful job on the funny song. This combination was ground zero for mid-century coolness. Thanks for posting!

Getz A-Go Go was a rehersal for the Carnegie Hall engagement. I did not get to hear the CAGG but did the Carnegie Hall and it was awesome. I too love the "Buzz Buzz" song...ha,ha! Such fun in that one they all laugh.
