im not a physics student, but would like to know what a particle and anti particle is? Why does energy result in this pairs of particles before the particles are converted to energy again? Is the process totally reversible or some energy also gets lost in the whole process and the amount of energy resulting from both the particles results in lesser energy as it was originally required to produce both the particles?
