also there's too much current in the room for rings...one thing I've learned about blowing rings is that you can't even tell by feel alone if a room is still enough...at times a room may be too windy and you won't even be able to feel it...it's all a matter of watching how your smoke (or vapor in my case) behaves

TIP: Packing only half, or even three quarters (or even less if it suits you) of a huge bowl, greatly reduces the amount of ash and half burnt tobacco that falls out. If you still have the pipe, you should bend the stem yourself to the shape you want. Just hold it over a flam for a little while until it's malleable, then bend to the shape you want, then dip the stem in cold water for a minute or so.

For me when i blow smoke rings, it helps to move your lips to forum the rings, when you do smoke rings your going to be letting out small bursts of smoke and when you let that smoke out it helps me to slightly close my lips (just slightly though) as i exhale the ring.

i've been smoking and making smoke rings for a while now, i found it hard at first too, but looking at what you're doing here, i think your best bet would be to make more of an O with your lips and use the back end of your tongue, and push it forward while leaving your tongue tip on the bottom of your mouth, but then again judging by the date of this video i guess you've mastered the skill :)

do you use filters? i used to but now since i have a packing method that keeps the tobacco from getting loose and going into the mouth piece, i now just keep the filter out. i believe it gives me more flavor. not that it matters much since all i can buy around where i live is captain black. but IMO i believe crap tobacco is way better than no tobacco
