@evanguy i think pilgrim this album itself is overlooked in favor of other albums from clapton. i personally love this album so much. especially this track that brought back my old memories; and the "river of tears" is just sad,down,heavy voiced, and amazing; "circus" talks about the last night seeing clapton's own son before the son died, the track was carefully composed with a not-very-depressed kinda tone but with painful lyrics;

i hope there is someone out there feels the same.
