  • 0:50...tcab :)

  • @harrygoozee Funny how I don't see many of that style on my travels. They appear quite rare it seems.

  • @Bevoin1970 They are rare, they arent in production now.

  • @harrygoozee That would explain it then... thanks :-)

  • @Bevoin1970 No thank you for this awesome video :)

  • @liam21157 Same to you Liam, many thanks for watching and commenting...Paul :-)

  • @brcreature You can't beat being happy in your work, I know the feeling well, I too enjoy the scenery and getting around seeing new things and meeting different people.

I agre with you. Thanks for watching and commenting.

    Have a nice day :-)

  • I drove this road many times on my way down from Scotland..

Good to see this area again and some new places..

    THX for share Paul

  • @aid2003 Yes must feel slightly strange for you knowing you have been here and seen it, you must miss those runs to England and your punctures on the ferry? ha ha :-)

  • id love ur editing know how man and dont show us that snow again were enjoing our promised indian summer lol!!

  • @birdman404 Editing is the easy part, anyone can chop bits and pieces out, fade in fade out, fancy transitions etc etc. I love the editing part, its the bit where you turn a load of any old footage into something watchable, hopefully.. ha ha well thats the theory.

I had to use those snow clips, they were gathering dust and needed throwing out, past their sell by date you could say - anyway they are now gone forever, and so is the snow too.

    Have a good weekend :-)

  • hey hows all going mate , just about to hit the road again ,get the beast back in a couple of hours , in the end 2 motors later first replacement motor had crack in the bellhousing strange as it had only done 30000kms anyway got a hold of a 2008 motor with 80000 on it lets hope this one stands the test of time , i am told it is the 160hp version so this should be fun , anyway nice video mate cant wait to get the old camera working again but must go get some new work first , more newspaper dels

  • @colinj58 Hey! Im ok thanks, same old, same old, you know how it goes. - You seem to be going through a sticky patch with your engine troubles, usually the way though isn't it? nothing ever seems straight forward.

If you putting a 160 BHP engine in your van, your certainly going to notice the difference. My own van is only 130 BHP - you'll be pulling those pallets of paper like a train... ha ha Good luck hope all goes well... :-)

  • Hiya me again, how do u get the contracts? Im really interested in how u go about gettin the work, i have a van my self just need someone like ya self to guide me in the right direction. Cheers mucka

  • @ilovecossies You need to get involved with the local courier firms / haulage or whatever in your area, and take it from there...

  • Hiya after watching your videos i wana become the legend.of white van man lol but who do u work for, is it good money, how many drops a day do u do? Are u self employed or employed? Cheers scott

  • @ilovecossies I work for myself, and I dont do multi-drop as in the sense of 100+ drops a day. Money can be good and bad together, no two weeks the same for me, overall it works out ok, I get by. :-)

  • Another fun packed production Paul, should make an XXX Rated version for the adults watching...ha..ha...Brilliant as always...Bob

  • @robmasterman Ha Ha.. I could do that too Bob - Thanks for joining me to Leeds, nice to have your company :-)

  • SNOW?????????????

  • @MrSiner09 I see all sorts you know... ha ha

  • @Bevoin1970 LOL

  • The green T-Scania in the beginning must be the first I ever see in your videos!

Are the T-model rare in the U.K?

    Nice:)

  • @Jobergg You don't see these models very often on english roads, they are very few and far between for some reason. I could count on one hand how many I have come across in the last 12 months driving around the UK.

  • @Bevoin1970 And here I see them every day..

  • i want to see one day the inside of your cab the day that you decide to film

the camera on the tripod must turn all over the cab

    i like this video

monday and wednesday i must deliver in Leominster if you drive on the M5 or A417 it is possible that i cross the "mobile studio"Sprinter

have a good weekend my friend

    Patrick

  • @7784Patrick I only use 3 positions, the passenger seat under the head rest, the flat area where I keep my sunglasses, and the flat part of the dash to the right of my steering wheel, for the truck overtaking me shots.

I dont use my tripod at all inside the van, I just place the camera on a flat surface, hoping for the best. The rest is done in editing out the crap.

Im loading at 12 noon approx on Monday heading to Maldon near Chelmsford in Essex, so we wont cross paths. One day we must really!!

  • @7784Patrick Thanks Patrick, you too have a great weekend - One day I will get your photo as you sit in my Sprinter... ha ha

  • Lol are you racing with that lorry from about 4 minutes to 4:47?

  • @obayda44 Although it seems that way, the answer is no, just so happened the lane I was in moved a little faster, but then eased off again, hence he kept catching me up... :-)

  • @Bevoin1970 :) LOL

  • @obayda44 Although it seems that way, the answer is no, just so happened the lane I was in moved a little faster, but then eased off again, hence he kept catching me up... :-)

  • A nice trip Paul, I was on some of these roads myself last week going up to York. Liked the ending too :-)

  • @007vauxhall You would have gone left at the start of the film, taking the M18 then A1M - funny how we ended up in the Twi-light zone at the end eh? LOL - Thats driving for you, where you end up in a world of your own...

    Thanks for watching. :-)

  • Hey Paul ;

i also tryed to learn some new words in english by the speakers from your radio but just a little i understood :-)

i love the last part with the super Sprinter at top speed in the countryside eh eh :-))

    ciao!

  • @sprinter977 Gabriel, you speak better english than I can speak Italian, I never have any problems understanding your comments.

The Sprinter in full flight is a great sight to see... :-)))

Thanks for watching my Italian friend

    Ciao :-)

  • genau ,so kenne ich die englische motorway allE sind schnell unterwegs .

fahren die lastkraftwagen noch 120km/H ??

    BESTE GRÜSSE AUS BERLIN VIDEOHAI02

  • @videohai02 Danke - 111km/h on english motorways = 70mph

    Beste Grusse Aus England :-)

    Danke :-)

  • @slimmon2000 I haven't been into the centre myself for a while now, thankfully, like all cities, its no joy, needing eyes up your ass, 1 way systems, bus lanes and all the rest.

Not seen Igloo on the road either for a long time, do they still operate I wonder?

Glad you moved over Mr Supreme Sprinter driver, theres a new kid on the block now, "Moi" :-))) LOL

Anyway besides being stranded up north nowadays, amongst all that stunning scenery, I reckon you did the right thing.

    Cheers Andy :-)

  • Thanks Paul...always good camerawork & interesting journeys...............Mike

  • @modemeyes Thanks Mike - You'll make my head swell :-)

  • another great video, you do get around, kepp up the good work.

  • @SuperRmonty Thank you - Glad you could join me :-)

  • @xCeased I see them too... ha ha - you've given me an idea, maybe I should make a video one day, just dedicated to Stobart trucks that I come across, purely for the Stobart fans. Only trouble is the camera doesn't pick up truck names very well if at all, so it would be difficult to suss out who was who.

I might try it one day and see what happens.

    Thanks :-)

  • Hugely enjoyable video again. Prefer the shots in real time though. As for the foghorn incident, it just goes to show that they're not all locked up yet! Oh, and by the way. Do you think that the guy at 4.30 knew that he'd left his trailer behind(!) Thanks again for posting.

  • @Bobcatonline Times when I film, I suddenly see something that catches my eye lets say, but I don't really capture enough of it on film, say 2 seconds worth or something simply because I didn't spot it soon enough.

Those tend to be the times when on editing I slow it down to half speed, simply so the viewer gets chance to see it & not just some blurrr... ha ha

I hear what you say though, and thank you for any kind of feedback.

That driver was an old by so maybe he didn't realise... ha ha

    THX :-)

  • Good video, quiet and pleasant, very good editing as always, I like the fists of boxing on the side of the co-pilot.

    Paul greetings!!5 Stars¡¡

  • @truckernacion Thanks Alberto - Many beers to you my Spanish friend :-)) por favor!!

    Thank you :-))

  • ottimo video Paul, se posso darti un consiglio ogni tanto fai un commento del luogo

dove ti trovi, oppure una ripresa a te stesso.

    Buonastrada e occhiovivo ciao byye

  • @antonio25452 Grazie - Im non abbastanza che mi capisce voi, ma provera la volta prossima - Vi ringraziano

Sorry about my Italian translation :-)

  • Now we all make mistakes Paul......That 'drivers' parents did, that's a fact. lol My missus gets fed up when I get a cob on with other drivers. I'm not perfect....None of us are, but sheesh, some of 'em. Was driving in Leeds yesterday, Hate the place as a driver....Love it as a city. Oh & don't get me AND Ian M started as well or we'll be here all week. haha.

  • @drummingriffin I understand everything you say, and yes I too make mistakes and then wonder why I just did such a thing, but some folk, I swear blind, they have never taken a test, I so wish I was a copper at times and could pull-em over to find out. You can see they are accidents waiting to happen.

One thing is for sure, as a driver you really do see some sights out on the road, makes you think too, just how many really thick people there are out there, and driving with it... ha ha

    THX :-))

  • Hey, loving the videos as always <3, but i was just wondering doe's your sprinter have a speed restrictor on it?

  • @Canonbie1123 Thank you - The answer is no, my Sprinter is not restricted, Im guessing you think it is because some trucks appear faster than me?

The reason for this is purely for filming, I purposely drive slightly slower sometimes to capture overtaking trucks.

If Im not in a hurry to get somewhere, then I will sit behind a truck all the way and save diesel.

There are times when I need to hammer it, as you do when the need arises.... ha ha

    Thanks for watching. :-)

  • @Bevoin1970 Ahh i see! i'm a delivery man drive a 60 plate ford transit and theres nothing better than just taken it smooth and just watch the world go bye sometimes. Kepp on driving safley and keep on making videos because there AWSOME! lol <3

  • @Canonbie1123 Wow..!! Thank you , such kind words. I see you multi-drop? not for me, much too stressful in my book.... ha ha Give me long distance, 1 off drops anytime.

I enjoy early starts, doing a steady 56 / 60 mph, sometimes I sit behind the coaches doing 100km/h other times I chose the trucks, I enjoy the steady constant speed, makes me feel chilled out, saves loads of fuel too, but thats only when I have no pressure on to be somewhere else, you know how it goes.

You too keep safe out there

  • Snow in June? Oh I see - your longest tour: You must be on the Falklands. They have winter now.

  • @multivan2001 Im not saying I get all over the place, but you can tell by the weather I do just that.... Ha Ha

Thanks Nils - Have a nice and hopefully sunny week :-)

  • 95% of drivers do not have a clue about using sliproads/merging etc. I'm not going to even start going there! But your incab vocals mirror mine day in day out.

I know the weather has been a little strange recently but snow!!!!!!!!!! :-)

Cheers for the ride Mr B

  • @1958IanM You and me both, I too could write a book, definitely a "Grrrr" moment - talking of which I've had a "Grrr" day today, earned frig all barely, and yet had two forklifts make contact with my van, one loading on the side door, and one on a building site, big bugger tractor type, unloading a large stillage from the rear end.

Luckily not much damage just cosmetic, I can save it as they say, nonetheless, I've had one of those crap days today.... Jeez I could moan for england tonite... ha ha

  • Hahaha.....the end is funny.

  • @MrMercedes90 I just had to use those two clips before I binned them... ha ha

  • You must have went to same driving school as me Paul! The School of Hard Knocks!

I drove "muck wagons" for years in London and here in Ireland and I could write a book about the things I've seen on the roads, just like the prat who "closed the door" on you.

  • @firglenchainsaws Good job we are not in a Pub having a drink or 6, we would be there all night telling each other tales of woe... ha ha

I too could fill a book with all the nob heads I have come across in my time.....

    Cheers!!!! :-))

  • Er, so, what happened to the sunshine? There are some scarily careless folks out on the roads.

  • @ThePixelpoke Its a Parallel universe - I think I ended up in some sort of Twi-light zone... ha ha.

That driver was a total prat, couldn't tell if it was a bloke or a woman driver - I could write a book on all the idiots I have met merging onto a motorway, so many people are clueless, most of it is common sense too, they just don't see it. Hard shoulder is another topic, pulling back onto a fast moving lane instead of building your speed up first then moving across, I need a drink, ha ha...

  • @Bevoin1970 Paul, I know exactly how you feel. My pet hate is people on the phone, or worse texting. I've seen people reading novels, using laptops, applying make-up. Also, why do some people make it a point to not let you past on a two-lane slip-road? Grr...

  • @ThePixelpoke Yes I too have seen all that kind of stuff, the mind boggles. I really don't know why some drivers act the way they do. There seems to be no common curtsey or manners anymore. every man for himself nowadays. none regular drivers stand out like a sore thumb to me, Im surprised we don't see many more accidents on our motorways at times, judging by the way some people drive, Im sure its just down to luck for them. Lots of people can't read situations, or anticipate movements.

    Grrr THX

  • I was wondering what that shopping center was!

  • @MrFasttrack1 Now you know... :-)
