monk is still there. he had a couple of catches yesterday i just didn't put them in because they were short average catches. the 3s didn't get alot of reps yesterday at all. was kind of weird i thought.

kellen davis is definitely playing very very well. he has stood out no doubt. he makes really tough catches and he's huge! our tripe tight end set on the goaline is going to be tough to beat.

As much as Rex has his problems (which I don't believe should be entirely placed on him) he is the most talented QB on the roster. I believe if we put a line in front of him he will perform. Much as he did in the first half of 07 (when the line protected him).

I agree!!!! Rex is the man. I don't jump on the band wagon and listen to the media. Think about what happened when we benched Rex. We lost the season because of it. We need a good offensive line to protect him. He only has about 2-3 seconds to through the ball or get sacked. Manning has all day. Put Rex on the Colts and I bet he would have beat the Bears too. Also, don't forget all the droped passes that were right in the hands. I think anyone who doesn't get that, doesn't really watch football.

yeah i agree. and when he was benched lovie said it wasn't his fault they just needed to remove the distractions the team was dealing with in regards to rex and the media. and then when it came down to it, it ended up being the offensive line's fault as all qbs fumbled snaps and played on their backs last year. football is a running game and we had no running game to boot.

yeah i agree great point. i have always felt like that about our superbowl season. they started to run outta gas at the end of the year and in the playoffs and if it wasn't for the offense especially in that seattle game, we would have been one and done.

i hear ya believe me. he has been getting that nickname of the training camp king. we'll see how things play out. i still think he's relatively inexperienced as far as qbs go. qbs usually get better with time. we'll see how things play out. again i really don't care who wins the job because we have proven we can win with both of them. i just want to see our offensive line gel and our defense to stay healthy and then we'll be back in business!

yeah i think it's a little of both. rex has been slightly better by just a little bit but kyle's off day that day gave rex a small lead no doubt. kyle'll bounce back though. it aint over yet! :)

hehe yeah. you know what's funny about it is that he doesn't even have to jump. that's actually how he tries to sell a screen i've noticed now. he looks the other way until the last second and then he turn-jumps-and-passes in one motion. it looks wierd for sure.

totally i want to see me some kevin jones as well. yeah rex seems really loose and relaxed so far which is kind of surprising to me. i think he actually appreciates not having all the pressure on him. in fact, i would argue that all the pressure is on kyle because he's been given a shot and alot of people already think kyle is better. even the media is expecting that this is his job to lose. so if he doesn't win it then it'll kinda look bad for kyle.

yes i think hass is like a combination of waddle and welker. he's making it hard to ignore him again this camp. and he's developing a very good repoire with rex too i've been noticing. rex always knows he can throw very high to hass on the sidelines and that he'll almost always come down with it.

The QB's looked like the changed places in this video. Rex is the one taking the checkdowns and looking more efficient while Kyle looks like Rex circa 2006 (some really nice throws, then INT's). You sure they didn't change jerseys?

gonna listen to the report to see how grossman did vs orton which by the highlights it looked like grossman did pretty well...he did throw a couple of passes a litlte behind instead of leading the receiver and did look a little flustered in the pocket once or twice. Orton seems a little inacurate thus the picks.

Hey anyone else see this. On Kyle's first int doesn't it look like Rideau gets clipped right before he is about to cut in? To me it seems that right before he is about to make his cut in he gets clipped and stumbles making it easy for Mcbride to get it seeing that the guy he is covering is stumbling to the ground.

yeah i think that may have been pass interference possibly. it didn't seem like it was all kyle's fault except for maybe throwing it into traffic where his wideout could be laid out like that but sometimes you gotta do that.
