  • nah....i dont believe you....this is an Indonesian Bali Dance....and this is a Hindu type of dance and i suppose that cambodia are Teravada Buddhist?not a Hindu...This is pure Balinese Indonesian Dance with influences of Hinduism

  • I think .. the ancient Cambodian civilization had contacted with Sirentra or Srivishai kingdom in java thousand years ago. Perhaps, Cambodian music used to sound like this.

  • But this particular version of legong was created recently in 2005, by Pak Nyoman Cerita, a highly accomplished choreographer and composer in Bali, for Pak Nyoman Wenten's (Burat Wangi's longtime director at CalArts) group in his home village of Sading.

  • This certain piece or composition maybe new, but putray statement is valid for the birth of the genre, ie. Legong in 19th century.

  • Absolutely love it the players are fabulas. Its amazing how the dancers maintain balance as well as bend their hands so far back. You get an idea that there making a mirror. This will give me alot of ideas when i produce more of my gamelan compositions for Music
