Best KISS song? I think so, but then again, there are hundreds of classics to choose from. In the five years that original line up was together. They released over 100 classic anthems making it nearly impossible for me to pick a favorite. It'd have to be between this or "Detroit Rock City". The same goes for outfits. I'm always at a constant battle with myself whether I prefer the Alive attire, as seen here, as my favorite or the Destroyer/Rock 'N Roll Over look. It's a tough ass choice.

I appreciate the fact that Black Diamond was the best KISS song ever, and that it was kind of KISS's version of Stairway to Heaven. I get that part. It's a powerful song too, but the lyrics are abysmal. It's about exploitation of a prostitute of color. The lyrics came off the bathroom wall like all of KISS lyrics did.

Wrong. Ace quit to start a solo career, though was was dabbling in drugs and Peter also quit because he felt he wasn't getting to write enough songs for albums. He too was into drinking heavily. Gene and Peter do not drink and were more sober, but neither were fired. Gene wanted them to stay for the sake of the band. Don't know how old you are, but I've followed them since their early years and they were much better then. No original member was every fired.
