I was kind of amazed when played the aeon campaign, i hoped now i could destroy black sun and dont give a ** about uef or cybran and rule the galaxy with the Way as weapon together with marxon.. and then you have to fight with the princess :( AGAINST marxon :S

notice that in forged alliance at start everyone thought that princess is dead (except some of Aeon).Also we can see here that not portals neither both commandors were destroyed.

In UEF ending both Cybran and Aeon commandors were killed.Hard to explain their survive after planet torn apart.

At Cybran ending Brakman closed all portals and destroyed Black Sun.(Burk only destroys remote)

So yeah i think this one is the ending.

Apparently, the UEF ending is the real one, as in Forged Alliance, Seraphim II and the Cybran Core worlds are not mentioned, and Burke is still alive.

Though, the Cybran ending could also be it, as it shows QAI betraying them.

If you play all the factions you find out that the UEF are military gov out for total dominance, Cybran want independance, and the Aeon want peace threw the way and are screwed over cause of crazy politisions like markson.

This is the only good ending.

The UEF ending was pretty lame ( we nuke everyone and won!!" ), And the Cybrian ending was terribly dumb, especially since they are supposed to be terribly intelligent. THey free all the Cybrians, but they are still living on UEF worlds so that doesn't helps much since they'd be re-enslaved/killed/etc in seconds, and even if some escape, they shut down the quantum gates so they can't go far.

for the cybran ending...they isolated the cybran worlds! That was their goal! As for the ones on uef worlds, everything was commanded by them so without them to do the work they probably made some arrrangements or ran away from the remnants of the uef now cripled even more!

That is why I like the Aeon Illuminate. The UEF ending involves destroying the worlds belonging to the Aeons and Cybrans. The Cybran ending involves the Cybran ACU infecting Black Sun with a virus which destroys the Quantum Gate Network. The only good part about that ending is the Symbionts' freedom from UEF control. At least the Princess Burke ends the war peacefully without killing anyone.

I have studied the intro of the sequel Forged Alliance and the three factions are still living and make an alliance to stop the Seraphim. So logically, the Aeon ending must the true one.

The fact that the aeon and cybran were forced to surrender implies that they were in no way to continue a war. In Forged Alliance all three sides are strong enough to mount a defence against the seraphim.

Even though I prefer the UEF (Earth pride, yo.) and find their ending very satisfying, I think the Aeon ending is the best because no planets had to be destroyed. Oh, I could care less about the Aeon or Cybran scum living on them, but the UEF and Cybran endings leave humanity as a whole weakened against the mysterious invaders that are revealed at the end of the campaigns.
