Actually, listening to April's version, they are exactly IDENTICLE. Yes, April sounds freakishly like Marilyn, but yup, it's her. And also, I think it was the second photo, the one where she has a sheer cloth over her breasts, is NOT a photo that Marilyn ever took. I saw while looking at other photos of April Stevens, and some others from the same photo shoot showed APRIL'S face.

wow. so many people have miscredited this song it is crazy. Marilyn Monroe is awesome but she didn't do this song! A simple wiki search attributed this song to April Stevens, in 1959.

Okay. It's April Stevens trying (and suceeding!) to sound like MM. I'm of an age, and remember when the song first came out. But most interesting are some bits of footage I've never seen before from England. Very cool!
