@xrustynailsx that has to be practiced and repeated. If you were watching, they were getting faster every time and even then they made mistakes. Doing a true saber duel is an artform that 2 fans and a trained martial artist can do on the fly. So for their attempt at trying to recreate the duel, I was impressed with how Ray was able to carry them and make them look good.

Hands down, Darth Maul had the best light saber fight aside from the last battle between Anakin and Obi-Wan maybe. They could have cut out all the shit with the Gungans and the droid army and replaced it with Darth Maul fight scenes. Ray Park is the man.

Actually, saber replicas are really no different from sparring swords in shape. I personally have a saber hilt with a polycarbonate blade. Any form of swordsmanship would really suffice for "lightsaber training," unless you're talking about all the flashy stuff. If that's the case, then what you're looking for is stage combat. You can take classes at any college that has theater classes, really. Either that, or dedicate your life to studying Wushu.
