  • Isn't it funny the wars we will fight under the pretence of national security, when in fact it is "special interests". "Greed", is the reason we fight wars. Oil, lithium, opium, and we are the worlds biggest terrorists are but a few of the current reasons. Your news stations will not report this as their mouths have been sown shut when the truth may hurt someone of great power. The american government is as tyrant as the "Nazi Empire". This current government wants world domination. Ya! Think!

  • Ron Paul is spot on. I love this guy.

  • I support my governments military aid to the US troops in Afghanistan, though trivial as it is, we are allies and shoould support each other. But I really do hope the US begins talk with Taliban and the other groups, you cant have a central government in a disenfranchised multipolar country. Its ridiculous.

  • i love how the seats are almost always empty everytime. Ron paul is probably one of the many few who show up and actually give a damn about Americans and its future.

  • 30+ years Ron Paul hasn't changed one bit on us.

50+ years we've been using the TV & the gov. media complex as our source of OPINION.

People that aren't for Dr. Paul in anyway, I think ignore intuition...

    RON PAUL 2012 BABY!

  • I'm a Ron Paul supporter. Ron is not my God! Even if he follows the constitution, he will always be a man. I do not worship Ron Paul, but I agree with his notion...Ron has a way of saying" our gov is corrupt" without insulting the regime personally!

  • Bring em home!

    Ron paul 2012!

  • The call for needing MORE troops in Afghanistan is due to attempting to send a message through the WRONG source. What they are saying is that Russia,France and Mexico is a good place for Natural Slaves to fill in and find a new home and Friends. It has NOTHING to do with fighting in the sense they are saying

  • Proletarians of all countries, unite!

  • This one man puts all of Congress and the Bush and Obama administrations to shame.

And the media that propagandize constantly for the status quo; and sadly, most of the sleeping American public.

  • All the congress? What about Dennis Kucinich, Alan Grayson and Bernie Sanders?

If what all three of those guys wanted on foreign policy at least the healthcare debate would be about money we actually have.

  • I just don't hear Kucinich, Grayson, and Sanders standing up to Obama and refusing to fund his wars and really fighting militarism as Ron Paul is doing.

Plus, our domestic police and Homeland Security are more militarized and scary than ever. The Democrats have all the power now; why don't they defend civil rights? Instead, Americans are losing more rights, police brutality is rampant, protests are violently suppressed.

  • What protests are being violently suppresed?

  • How asleep can you be to remember back to the mass handcuffings and peaceful people herded into "free speech zones" that were temporary arrest compounds during the Republican/Democrat conventions, and the heavy militaristic hardware recently used on G-20 demonstrators and scores of innocent bystanders?

C'mon, you're on YouTube; are you a denier of all the hundreds of videos of brutal suppression archived and daily increasing?

Fact: there haven't been many demonstrations, people are scared.

  • I remember hearing about hancuffing, but it's the same damn thing with every protest and has been since the 1950's, 60's and it was worse then. I'm not denying that any of that happened, I think your hyping it up though.

Our idea of "brutal suppression" might be different. I do see some of that, I also see a lot of reactionary, alarmist bullshit.

  • You remember "hearing about" handcuffing? You must get all your news from the corporate media. Because it was all over the internet, to see. It is true civil rights have been under attack since the 50s-60s. But then we thought we had legal recourse. That was before the Patriot Act was declared law, supported by Congress and Bush/Obama.

How countries slide into tyranny is when people don't face facts and blindly support regimes that suppress news and non-establishment dissenting voices.

  • I've watched every damn Ron Paul, Peter Schiff and Gerald Celente video on youtube, I watch all the different news so I get all the diffent bias and slants to derrive an opinion from. While that's true, there's a lot of crazy shit going on in this world, people are dying, It's hard to pay attention and remember every little thing like people getting handcuffed at a protest, worse things are happening all the time. I'm concerned about it, to act like it's all coming apart though, nahh, nothing new.

  • Well you haven't heard it because your probably only watching Ron Paul video's. Dennis Kucinich has a lot video's to on youtube, they're on here. I like a lot of what Ron Paul has to say, the idea that everything he says is right or that he's somehow infallible to some people is what I find weird. He does have a good message, that doesn't mean one has to agree with every position.

  • i know ron paul is human and can screw up just like anyone else can. but he would definately screw up the least amount of anyone in government, and if he did screw up, it would be something minor. why? because he is the ONLY one that understands and talks about monetary policy and actually makes sense. thats how i know 100% that he is not only on our side but knows what he is doing. even some of the people that are on our side wouldnt know how to adress monetary policy as well as ron paul.

  • Theres a some economists that think Ron Paul and Peter Shciff are wrong about gold, and that austrian economic theory is nuts who also predicted the economic collapse. Their reasons for explaining it were completely the opposite of course, Ron Paul would call them Keynsians, which I suppose they are. The truth is,we don't really know if Ron Paul is right, where is an example of this so called free market he speaks of?When has it existed or where does it exist? Ron Paul does make sense though.

  • of course there are opposers of ron pauls monetary sollutions. they just happen to all be on the federal reserve payroll or have stocks in the member banks or are politicians who have been influenced by lobbyists like mr. watts has. i hope you saw mr. watts trying to defend the watt amendment against alan grayson and ron pual. tell me who makes more sense in that video

  • Dennis Kucinich talks about monetary policy, the federal reserve and free markets, he also saw a housing bubble but says because of lack of regulations, Ron Paul doesn't believe in any regulations, so they're solutions while having the same goal is totally different. Ron Pauls solution might be a disaster for the economy, I'm not saying they would be, but we don't know. I don't see how anybody is so sure about what to believe. The economy is a hard thing to wrap your mind around.

  • I'm sure somebody will call me an ignorant, kool-aid drinking, lemming who only gets information from the corporate media for saying I don't know something. I know Ron Paul is like a messiah for a lot of people, just as Obama is.

  • ron paul is nothing like obama. obama flat out lies and offers vague statements for complicated sollutions. "change will come". compared to ron paul discussing monetary policy or foriegn policy or anyhting like that. obama never even utters those words. ron paul makes sense, that is why he has a following. obama has a following because he is black and gives uplifting, good feeling speeches.

  • Ron Paul stands for the constitution and I love and respect him for that. He has inspired me in ways nobody else has. I actually beleive in America once again. There is hope. And I realize one person can make a differerence.

  • You're a "ignorant, kool-aid drinking, lemming who only gets information from the corporate media." (Sorry, couldn't resist).

Seriously though, I think ur right in ur last sentence. I think the difference is that many are gung-ho for Ron Paul b-c of his well-articulated stances & principles whereas those Obama-zombies I've come across seem to like him cause he's "cool" but they lack substance. They mock Bush yet they voted for one who voted to re-authorize PATRIOT Act, fund the war, etc.

  • The last sentence in your comment is pretty accurate for a lot of people who voted for Obama, I agree, not all of them, but a lot of them. A lot of it wasn't so much about him, but against Bush, you have to give people a little bit of understanding after 8 years of that. I liked Kucinich, but I'm used to my guy never even having a chance, lol.

  • why are practically all the seats empty?

    ...

  • Ron Paul tells the truth and is ignored by the masses Wake Up!

  • Im from Scandinavia and I say, Ron Paul as President 2012.

And i say this as one who wanted Obama to win and actually felt proud when he won, even though im not from that country.

But now, after Obama kept the same financial people in power, i see this politician, Mr. Ron Paul, and say, let him win.

We - the world - need someone like him to win.

  • @OpinionAndQuestion Thank you!

  • @silerage Thank you!

  • @silerage Thank you!

  • Oh come on.......The Iraq war went great! Afghanistan justs needs 100k more troops for enemy to "bring it on" to. Of course Ron Paul is and always was right.

  • In certain cases where we have troops fighting an illegal war like Afghanistan and Iraq, the governor of any state can order the troops from his state to come home and report to the governor until a new president is elected. We could end this war real quick if we could get a few of them on board.

    And here's my 2012 line-up:

R/P for president...Jesse Ventura for V/P, Willie for Sec. of agriculture and Chuck Norris for sec. of defense. There's nothing to fear but Chuck himself....LOL

  • They are there because a lot of golden cocaine over there Mr Paul.

They are there because a retarded alcoholic white trash Bush heard US is the most powerful nation in earth and he thought he could invade the world Mr. Paul

They are there because they want to wait till they lose all hopes like the Russians do before them Mr. Paul thats why they are there :)

  • @dejavueQ You speak as though "Mr.Paul" is not aware of much of anything. In case you haven't figured it out, the reason he is so conservative in his speaking is because if he were to start looking like a conspiracy theorist it would be political suicide and maybe physical suicide. I've already watched them steal 90% of his votes and give them to other candidates. What's next? Maybe he's worried about ending up like some others? Maybe he's worried about his kids? What would YOU be worried about?

  • Ron Paul makes Reagan/Bush41/Bush43 look like such clowns, puppets. It's sad that 99% of Dr. Paul's fellow conservatives are so utterly clueless.

  • Ron Paul! .... Ron Paul! ..... Ron Paul!

  • most politicians only care about kickbacks from private interests; namely defense contractors who love endless war(s). (let's ruin planet Earth so we can temporarily live in luxury.) we must get Dr. Paul in the Oval Office so he can order our troops to come home and end this business of killing our youth for some pigs luxuries.

  • Ron Paul 2012

  • Ron Paul is a real Mensch. Honest, intelligent, hardworking and finally lives by a code of principles. It's too bad he is a minority this country...

  • I love this guy.

  • It would be nice if afghanistan heard this speech. Then they would know that we are all not bad people. Perhaps they already know that, but are busy fighting for their homes.

  • House members watch from their offices, and also, thousands watch C-Span, so Dr. Paul always has a big audiences.

  • Giving a speech to an empty chamber... as usual.
