I wont try to formulate a comparison between the two but, persons interested in this film should definitely look at 'The Stanford Prison Experiment'. Evil is simple, ugly and everywhere. Each person is capable of the most monstrous things under orders from an authority.

I too wish there had been English subtitles for this. "Salo" is one of the most disturbing movies I've ever seen....but yet strangely compelling.
