  • also want to say...san diego was not changed too much after wwII until about 1980...many mom amd pop plaaces fell by the wayside to make room for high rise bldgs. after that time...what ever happened to the owners of all these places.....remember other places...beefmasters...dino's diner, mays cafe, the one on the corner of 12th and broadway by popular market, salazar's, sabino's, guadalajara cafe, us cafe, rancho chico on 16th, oh so many to choose from

  • Ate their manytimes..his dad had it before him..cabbies lawyers street people cops everyone ate there...the price was right...his sister used to work with him for a long time...youdid not always get it YOUR WAY...you better like it as it came..it awas always good...

  • I was wondering if I had been in this cafe before, but I don't think so. Which is a shame, because I don't mind a greasy spoon. I love breakfast out. I hope they are both doing okay wherever they are. :)
