  • When I was a kid my underwear hated Markie Post. lol

  • Thanks to Pres. Clinton for the badass sax solo

  • i would always change the channel after the intro...never saw a full episode lol

  • NBC used to have all the good shows. Now there are like a total of 2 shows worth watching, neither of which are on NBC.

  • Yeah. The square was your death trap or place to see some porno theaters... now its own by Disney

  • NYC was a much grittier place in the 80's. You had to be tough as nails to make it there.

  • when growing up I always thought richard moll (the bald guy) was like 8 ft tall. LOL

  • bought this song on itunes lol

  • saxophone therapy!

  • Remember when NBC shows were good. Oh the good ole days.

  • A little known fact is that this theme song is considered the golden standard for woodblock players worldwide, championing a revolution of woodblock performance the likes of which we will never see again.

  • Night court came on originally on nbc in the mid 80's lasted for 8 year's as a sitcom should or usually they last till 9 year's according to their popularity by the viewer's

  • I remember my father watching this back in the mid-80's. That feeling is gone. The 80's will be missed.

  • @georgelopezblows Gone? Now that's no way to talk around here! That feeling is never gone as long as you're still able to feel it. Why, I bet all you need is an inspirational speech about believing in yourself and some heartwarming theme music, then you'll be feeling it like it was the eighties all over again!

Oh god. Oh god! It's the eighties all over again! My fashion sense has abandoned me! Abort! ABORT!

  • Markie Post rules.

  • The dark days of NYC during the 1980s

  • @Romeofud I think you mean the happy days well for me I loved that nyc

  • @WannaBeatsChannel I would classify it as smooth jazz.

  • Night Court remains one of my most favorite sitcoms. I miss this show so much.

  • markie post is so hot!!!

  • Family Guy, Saxaphone Therapy

  • Play me out Mr. Clinton!

  • Yes it was gd t.v.!!

  • best show ever. Dan was kindof a perve, Harry was kindof gay, but somehow Bull made it all ok

  • This was actually the season before the last one. Markie Post has short hair here, in the last one she had shoulder length hair.

  • 0:09 "hey can we get a picture of this courthouse at night? no? fuck well send this daytime picture over to post-processing then"

  • Loved this show!

I always remember the episode when Mac's halloween costume was from the movie "Aliens" where he had rubber alien coming out of his dress shirt. I always wanted that costume.

  • Comment removed

  • my parents watched the shit out of this show

  • TAXI, WKRP, MATLOCK and NIGHTCOURT are the some of the best intros in television history!!!

  • @chyman Don't forget "Mash"! "Suicide is painless"

  • @lavoiemichael YES!! THANK YOU FOR REMINDING ME!!! ;D

  • I did wonder where is the LOVE button.

  • This was the BEST show to come out of the 80s

  • The New York of the 80s - with that dingy and GRITTY edge to it, as depicted in this vintage montage, is the REAL Big Apple that I so miss and long for, not today's uber-liberal, mocha jocha frappe lappe sipping, "trendy" loft-dwelling, don't even think about pullin' out that cigarette, Manhattan...I've really lost a great deal of admiration for that city

  • @phantomlord54 I don't know about you, but New York will always fascinate me, even if the turned Times Square into Disneyland (Isn't Broadway supposed to be an actual street? I mean come on...). But despite their efforts, there's always gonna be that grittyness to the city that no one can take away. I mean, it's still New York after all.

  • my favorite part of your comment is "mocha jocha frappe lappe sipping"

  • God, coolest drum riffs ever!

  • Best line in the whole series (Dan Fielding) "Give me 10 puddings."

  • I always thought Richard Moll and John L. looked very similar. The only difference being one had a shaved head and the other did not. LOL

  • Man you used to could stay up late and see three or four ep's of this on numerous stations. Now all you see when you stay up is infocrap.

  • I vaguely remember this show. When did it air?

  • @roosevelthighschool Mid to late 1980's.

  • 8O's had some of the best Television in America. Grew up watching this.

  • When TV was worth watching!

  • When a tv theme has some 30secs + 80s bass = wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin!

  • Night Court was the SHIT!

  • Mac got ripped off, he only had one opening throughout the show

  • Dear 80s & 90s: FOR THE LOVE OF GOD COME BACK!!!!! I cant stand TV anymore!! I may have been a kid when all of these shows were on, but I appreciated them then & now. ;-; Sitcoms dont even have theme songs anymore, just a freaking 8 second title card!!

  • What happened to Harry Anderson (after Dave's World?) He seemed to have disappeared after it was cancelled.........................

  • 24th comment yeah

  • Adam West from Family Guy is awesome for playing this theme hahaha xD

  • @GWiifanboy That was actually Bill Clinton on Family guy not Adam West/ It was for Peters "saxophone therapy"

  • @ryan489 Oh yeah, I made a mistake... sorry about that.

  • my top 5 show of the 80's are as followed,family ties,night court,threes company, barnie miller,the jeffersons.

  • Con una pequeña edición queda una base para hip-hop cojonuda.

  • Barney Miller, Taxi, Night Court- these shows had that NYC feel to them Because of their intros. But jus for fun throw in Sanford and Son/ for the sake of that Downhome Funky flava-

  • R U sure this is the intro from the last season of Night Court u uploaded?

  • I think this is from the second to last season. In the last season, Markie's opening preview changed again. She was wearing different clothes and her hair was longer.

  • the blonde was hot.

  • family guy, haha

  • LMAO!!!

  • This guy knows what im talkin bout.

  • These shows have the best theme songs. They should bundle all the intros of shows from the 70s, 80s, and 90s together into one DVD (the episodes themselves are irrelevant) and sell it on Amazon. I'd probably be the only person who'd buy it.

  • Me too!!!

  • I'd illegally download it :P

  • This was the first sitcom I ever got into...I think I was 10 or so when I first started watching it.

  • Where can I buy this single man!?!? This shit is the shit dawg!!!! YEAH!!

  • bull is da shit

  • The shot of the people smoking cigarettes and laughing is such a time capsule of 1980's NYC. Nobody smokes and laughs anymore... not at $8.50/pack.

  • cheapest cigs here where i live in cali is $3.92 for a pack of Pal Mals

  • no shit eh no one smiles and laughs anymore not at 8 50 thats for dame sure

  • now that was some good television!!!

  • @vickerie1 Yep! One of the many shows I watched back when it was on the air and I remember laughing quite a bit! Always loved the intro and the song as well. :)

  • Court? At night? I'm laughing already!

  • @pdl4447 Remember though, this is set in New York City, the city where many things are 24 hours, or at least open VERY late. LOL

  • @pdl4447 Please guess or we'll all grow old and die here. This quote came from when Michael J Fox was on as a guest star.
