I had to install an alarm around the plastic under the steering , i thought it would be just 2 bolts and a clip to remove... ended up in fucking nightmare like this

hey so my car has the crack and my question is do i have to do everything you did to replace it or does that top cracked piece somehow remove itself from the entire dash?

nice videos. My dash (2001) is very badly cracked, cheap plastic :( I like how sunfires have the separate piece makes things easy. It also seems like the 03-05 models had better plastics

I would probably not tackle a project like this , it looks like to much work and the dash may crack again. Right now I got 2 options: 1) go to the wreckers and hack saw the piece out then install it over top. 2) buy the coverlay (more expensive)
