One of the few or perhaps the only video ive seen by Martin De Thurah with colours. Usually his videos are b/w or very light coloured, but I guess this vid is different because of the work between the three producers. I can recommend the video for Special, also by Mew, which im pretty sure recalling Martin also directed.

I listen to math/grindcore to avant garde iindie, experemental shit electronica and have a very good knowledge of what music is out there and ithink there are better bands than mew, but mew havve out smarted me, such a simple indie band but this song is clever, i have listened it so many times, its the only song ever that never gets boring and i dont know why its not even that complex but it never gets old. which could make it one of the best songs ever written

I love the voice´s melody. takes so much time to go in, and then go round and round like a beautiful echo.

I think the video is about nature and symetry. Its the unending story of the trip of what is artificial (the black square -remember Stanley Kubrick Oddisey) trying to fit in it´s natural place (the rocks, at the ending). (If you thing about the horses, its also kind of platonic) (not freaky, not scary. A little "Fever ray" kind of Darkness. But armonic at the end.
