  • theres no bad blood. max brought us the stanley cup. he will be always remembered as a penguin.

  • i hate talbot and everyone in pittsburgh does he always said how he hates the phlyes and wont even take his dad there. this is all for money no doubt. and do u think hes gonna be this good in 5 years...HELL NO!!!!!!!!! ur gonna get bood when u step on pittsburgh ice bitch.

  • Talbot never seemed to be the player the Pens thought he might be. He has done nothing the last two years. Just strange.

  • @MBFLmom Oh yeah nothing? except scoring the two goals that won you the cup...right?

  • @pensfaninstockholm The only 'rule' that exists, is that rule in your empty head, believing that these players have any long lasting loyalty. Talbot is a human, and he wants to earn cash. He'll forget Pittsburgh within a few months and move on with his life, whereas losers like you will keep booing and screaming at him for signing with the Devil. Get a fucking life...

  • @pensfaninstockholm Typical crybaby penguins fan

  • @pensfaninstockholm Don't blame Talbot, the Pens let him walk. Pens only offered him a 2 year deal, he begged them to give him a longer deal for a little less money and they didn't agree. He just wanted some loyalty from his club and they basically told him he wasn't worth it. So he went seeking elsewhere and the Flyers offered the longest term deal to give himself and his family more stability.

He wanted to stay, but Shero wasn't willing to be loyal to him.

  • im happy that hes playing for the flyers now=)

  • I respect Talbots decision. If you worked at McDonalds and Burger king was going to double your pay you would go there.

  • @pensfaninstockholm no, there really isnt, talbot is not a great player that is not young anymore and when he got offered a long term contract with good money for him in a real good hockey city, why wouldnt he take it?, and how exactly does his explanation not make sense? i am pretty sure that is the main reason for almost every move, its not that big of a deal, asham just left the flyers after the 2010 season and joined the pens, not a big deal and we understood it was a good fit for him

  • The pens offered him a 3 year contract which he refused. If he wants to make the decision to go the Philly, whatever. I just don't see why he would make this decision. With Philly trading 2 of there star centers, and completely overpaying for Jagr, how can he expect to do better in philly than Pittsburgh. What the hell do they expect of a 39 year old? Jagr is not going to do much this year. I definitely believe that a healthy penguins line up has a very good chance at another Stanley Cup

  • @MIROSLAVSATANFAN a healthy penguins lineup is a big if, the flyers got rid of 2 good, not great players that dont hustle and show great heart in the game and replaced them with very good young scrappy hard working players, the flyers this year will still be good, people dont realize that, and there going to get even better in the next 2-3 years and in about 3 years the flyers will probably be even better than wat they were last year plus he was offered 5 years and more money in philly

  • @MIROSLAVSATANFAN i understand why non flyers fans would think there not going to be good this year but they r, giroux is sick, he played ok ice time last yr, not on the 1st PP unit and yet he was easily out best player and finished w/ 76 points and is only 23, he is probably going to finish with like 90 points, JVR about 30 goals, briere 30+ goals, hartnell 25-25 guy, voracek is already a 50 point guy and he just turned 22, simmonds is a scrappy 20 goal guy, schenn is #1 prospect in world + JJ

  • @MIROSLAVSATANFAN a study was done on wat to expect from Jagr this year and then came to the conclusion that if he stays healthy he should finish with over 60 points and maybe 70, thats pretty darn good and it was only a 1 year contract and he is going to teach all the young players we hav, plus now we hav one of the best goalies in the game, is as good and prob better than fleury, plus our defense is good when healthy, Pronger, timonen, coburn, carle, meszaros, thats 5 above average dmen

  • @pensfaninstockholm Where is this in the CBA?

  • @pensfaninstockholm Former players left the Flyers & went to Pittsburgh and Flyers fans didn't complain about it: Kjell Samuelsson (played for the Flyers, went to Pittsburgh, went back to Philadelphia) Rick Tocchet, (played for the Flyers, went to Pittsburgh, went back to Philadelphia). Kevin Stevens even went to Philadelphia after playing for the Penguins

There's no rule that says you can't sign with rival teams

  • @pensfaninstockholm How does 'needing a job & money' not a good explnation. The Penguins let him walk.

  • "It wasn't about the money" my ass, if it wasn't about the $ then what he just loved the flyers so much??

With 87 and 71 back next yr pens are gonna be a new team, and as much as I loved Talbot treason like this will not go over well.

    RIP 25

  • @Sandra872971 With 87 back next year...

Pft, I hope you know Crybabies career is over, they just don't want to say anything yet. Mark my words, he'll retire from concussion problems. He's done, Hedman finished him.

  • it was nothing but money and the length of the contract. He wanted a 4 yr deal and Shero laughed. As a Pens fan I'm happy he got paid. He's def not worth 2mil a year statistcally. However, what he does in the locker room and in the community makes him an asset.Max will be missed on the PK as well.I had the chance to meet him one night on the southside while i was drunk as hell, and he's a cool dude. The Philly fans will like him,not many athletes are cool to common folks, but he is.

  • everything he said is a lie, he only did it for the money

  • @bigmac7920

In my opinion the Penguins were looking to shed some weight and Max sensed the way the wind was blowing.

It was possibly a mutual thing.

  • @poodtang1 eh i dont know about that.

  • i believe in you flyers

  • holy crap where have i been?? i thought he signed with the leafs?!!

  • @mayo15 There was a false twitter rumor that said his rights were traded to Toronto. Didn't happen

  • @FlyersinHD stupid twitter! :P

  • @mayo15 lol

  • rarely see a team sign a 4th line center long term like with talbot but ill take penguins fans words that ill like him

  • Must be weird for him, but business is business I guess. I hope he has a great time :) <3

  • From Pens to Philly? That's just like the biggest betrayal of all time...I like him, but Max as a Flyer??that's weird..

  • im going to miss u:P

  • Awee! i think im gonna cryy! :'(

  • awe </3

    i'm gonna miss him

  • Not so sure how I feel about this fire sale that apparently wasn't a fire sale according to Snider and Holmgren

  • @Thefashionista125 were gonna hav to wait to see if they were good moves
